We haven’t had run away from you speed at the receiver position in a long time. It will be nice to see Hyatt and Holiday use their speed to turn intermediate passes into big plays.

Did they say where those times for Jalin and Jimmy came from?
Jalin
The four-star prospect should help Tennessee restock at the wide receiver position with speed that 247Sports national writer Charles Power described as “one of the faster verified 40 times nationally.”

“Is among the very fastest players in the 2020 cycle with one of the faster verified 40 times nationally,” Power wrote in Hyatt’s 247Sports scouting report, “along with stellar times in the 100 and 200 meters …
Jimmy
Jimmy Holiday, the 6-foot, 190-pound athlete out of Madsion, Miss., ran a blazing 4.38 seconds at an Opening Regional in March 2019. He had a 4.40 time in the shuttle and a 34.70-inch vertical.

Guys that can actually run a 4.50 accurately timed 40 yard sprint are not easily found. Guys that weigh over 200 pounds that can run a true accurately timed 4.50 are even fewer and farther between. We've had this discussion in other threads but running a 40 in an accurately timed 4.50 is blazing fast. Many high schools don't have one that can do it.

Jalin's speed is Rocket Ismail type speed............never seen a person that fast on a football field.

True, if you run a legit 4.7 or better, you're plenty fast.

In terms of recruits, DeShawn Rucker is very fast. He's one of the fastest recruits in Florida. He ran a 10.76 100m and qualified for state for the long jump in Florida as a sophomore.
