Lots and lots of $$$ . Bezos and Elon could be just as big of an “ expert “ as Gates , they just don’t want to . Gates reminds me of Brain from Pinky and the Brain , Bezos is Gold Finger from Bond and Elon is Dr Evil from Austin Powers .

I've been thinking about a possible vaccine and how we should adjust our response once it arrives. I think that a targeted vaccination program, focusing on the elderly/at-risk/nursing home population, is prudent. Once that is implemented, I would be in favor of no further testing of the younger population and kids.

The goal of people advocating quarantine and contact-tracing is supposedly to save lives of those more likely to have bad outcomes. Once they are protected, there's no longer any good argument to keep anything closed.

Yeah there’s a problem with a logical approach when it comes to this new vaccine .. these new found powers under the emergency act that the states have found is giving these health czars the ability to declare stupid crap like ours in Virginia is trying where everyone will get a vaccine shot as soon as it becomes available ( I believe is what our idiot said )

While I fit in one and maybe two of your target demographic group for the vaccine first in line folks, I think I'll sit this one out until the vaccine has been given to a few 10's of millions other people first.

I’ve been all up in and around it and am currently in New York eating street side and I’ve never had it..... just take normal precautions and you can avoid most virus’ period.

Oh, I think that is absolutely your (and my) prerogative. My point is that once it is offered, there's no longer any justification for closures or shutdowns.

That being said, I can just about guaran-damn-tee you that the goalposts will be moved even further away from sanity and logic, once again.
