“Not your exact words, but same point” LOL That’s not my point. My point is that now that game could easily be a loss and it has become a loss for reasons that are out of the coaches hands. Not that we’re going to get “crushed”.

Just don’t want people to start dogging the coaching staff when/if we lose games that, in normal circumstances, we would win

Now you done gone and made me quote your post.

You said
SC will beat us soundly if those guys aren’t back on the field by the end of this week. This is the SEC brother. Margin of error is razor thin and if all these guys only get a week of practice before game 1, then it’s going to be a miserable season.

Then I said
Your memory needs a little work. What you told us that got you chastised was that, because we've had so many missed practices, your buddies from Columbia are going crush us. Not your exact words, but same point. And it's consistent with your take concerning usce.

"Beat soundly" vs "crush"? Yeah, they're pretty much the same point.

I agree with your last statement.

I'm down to add a game to our schedule. I would like to see OSU schedule some teams that are playing. The more CFB the better.
Yeah me too.
I’m hoping we can get a time machine, and bring back all the top 5 teams of the last decade, maybe even further. 1980 Georgia, Vince young’s Texas team (Hell, bring on USC with Bush. Cause we aren’t tested enough for my liking.)

Sounds good. This is such a weird year that im just trying to see as many big games as possible. Let's play the best and get better. Our core is young and they aren't using a year of eligibility this year. Our lines are experienced and will hold up. We just need to get our skill making positions in big games.

Didn't you see where Cat posted that if we play any games we will lose our recruiting class?

Less practice than other teams = less wins we get = less recruits we want.

That's all I'm saying
Unless it's not as bad as CJP is reporting = unless AV is right about veteran players = unless recruits will be made aware of the situation...... Then recruits will be looking at player development and the NFL draft. Any football is better than no football.

So my son is going to college in Southeast Kentucky. They had to get COVID tests before they could go onto campus or participate in team activities. One kid went to a practice before he got results then it came back positive. They got quarantined for 14 days. Turned out to be a false positive (kid got retested and it was negative). They STILL had to quarantine, then get tested again to get out of quarantine.
The point is, there is no logic to this BS.

Yeah cause you never know. Could be that famous false negative after the true positive. I agree with you. Who makes these freaking policies?
