The book has not been written on JG and this team. Obviously. But I have read so many posts and takes which assume that what JG has been is what he will be this season. There is a value to all those years of experience, good and bad. People can learn and get better. Especially when you have the coaching and facilities like we have. Until proven otherwise I think this is going to be a very successful season if it is allowed to be played. I think we will beat a couple of the top teams in the league, and take care of the lower tier teams on our schedule. GBO

If you listen to the video, the first 30 seconds the guy lists the names of the players involved. I don’t know the gamecock roster or depth chart, but a lot of those names sound familiar. Believe there are multiple starters.

Full list If I understood him right:

Jammie Robinson
Joey Hunter
Donald Fortune
John Dickson
Rashard Amos
Rodricus Fitten
Zaquandre White
Dominic Hill
Mike Wyman
Rodrico Smitten (?)
Jamar Brown
Keir Thomas

And no clue who the last two listed was

I have mixed feelings on this. I think he is good at putting his players in a position to succeed in his offense, and minimize their weaknesses. I also think he is an elite offensive play caller.

That being said, I think when people start touting how great of a qb coach he is, they forget about how terrible Tebow’s mechanics are (which sunk his NFL career), how much work Dak put in outside of MSU to be an elite passer, and how terrible as a passer and reading coverages Fitzgerald was.

But, he also helped put Alex Smith in the NFL, which are two more successful QBs than a lot of college OCs can say they have put in the NFL.

I don’t know. He’s a weirdo. He’s a gator. I choose to just hate him regardless.
I think he is....

Meh..

BYU had no reason hanging with us or even coming close to winning against us. Most of that falls on the coaches, but players don't get a pass at all. Remembering back to that time last year this place was just going bat crazy! I'm not sure many had a sliver of hope left.
It falls 100% on JG imo...and I am pulling for him to redeem himself this year. There were guys running wide open on literally every freakin passplay, and he absolutely 100% sucked. He could not get them the ball to them even though there was next to no pressure.

I know others will always blame the secondary for that one breakdown, but we would and should have been up 28 by that point...with just decent play from him.

Same thing against Vandy and Indiana as a starter...but by that time the defense had their crap together.

Doesn’t fit the agenda though. I’m sure the South Carolina players will accept medals before our game!
Agenda for what? "Boom" runs a clean program? 🤣 USCe fans already saying it couldn't be true and going after the father before any investigation. Saying the son was a walkon DB that got booted, insinuating saltiness. Also saying the kid stole something, leading to the gang beatdown. Who knows

Fwiw, USCe aware, 247 mod:
I just spoke to a spokesperson at USC who said that the coaching staff and administration are aware of the police report but will have no comment further since it's an ongoing investigation.
