Auburn has also had much more recent success beating ranked teams than Tennessee. It probably speaks to recruits when they see Auburn handing Alabama an L every now and then or beating Oregon on a neutral site to start the season. Once Tennessee starts winning a few of those games, we'll see even more recruits start picking us.

I just want us to win the 5 we SHOULD win + Florida and Auburn. Even if that’s not enough to win the East, that would be an awesome statement.

We NEED to win 1 of Florida, Georgia, Bama, Texas AM, or Auburn or recruiting will take a hit

That goes in line with my thoughts about our extra two SEC opponents this Year. Most people's first reaction was we got screwed again. I took a different approach. There is no better statement to a recruit than playing the other school in the running for Smael (Auburn), take them behind the woodshed and then ask Smael, who you want to play for now?

Muschamp is quite possibly my most hated HC in the SEC. Dude just reeks of poor sportsmanship and what he has said about our program just drives that hate stick further. The only thing keeping us from beating them like the bottom dweller team they are is our QB position. JG needs to have turned a new mental leaf. If not, gonna be a long game.

What’d Muschamp say?

That makes no sense lol...once the season starts and the SEC is making money there will be zero reasoning of turning back...the SEC has yet to feed into any Outside pressure from other conferences...I but i agree top 10 for sure. But just because they are committed doesn’t mean they can’t choose to go else where was my whole point.
Has anything reasonable happened this year?

Honestly I think we need 2. Pruitt has to be familiar with Jimbo's offense and we get Florida as our last game at home. Obviously Pruitt has proven he can beat Gus even with inferior talent.

Right now I think most folks see the SEC as follows:
1st tier - Bama, LSU & UGA
2nd tier - Barners, Gators, A&M
3rd tier - UT, USCe, KY, MSU, OM
Cellar - Mizou, Peabody & Piggies

5 wins and we are in the middle of tier 3. 6 wins is the top of tier 3 or bottom of 2 depending on who we beat. 7 wins gets us solidly in tier 2 and 8 wins puts us toward the top of 2.

Personally I think this is how the year ends as far as the tiers:
1st - Bama
2nd - UGA, Gators, UT, LSU & Barn
3rd - A&M, KY, MSU, OM
Cellar - USCe, Ark, Mizou & Peabody

On paper aTm should be pretty good this year but they have a knack for disappointing with expectations. Auburn is a winnable game. I do agree with the premise that we need to win one of the UF,UGA, Gump, aTm and Auburn games.

Honestly I’m thinking we’re gonna look better than they will. That game could go one of two ways. It’ll either get real ugly like last year’s and we’ll just put our foot down on the throats or it’ll be tight bc Qb play will be questionable & we still get the W
I hope we come out blazing, but the way we keep coming off long breaks under Pruitt has me concerned he hasn't put the prep skills together just yet. WVU, Ga St, the first 3.5 quarters of Indiana. Hopefully this is where the tide turns and it clicks for him and the team.
