That’s a valid question.
How about as butthurt as Bolton was about Trump even he didn’t give a corroborating account.
Perhaps if they had informed him of the plan before his book went to print? I mean ...this did happen in 2018.
Plenty of people have gone on record about him. Including guys like Mattis, Kelly, etc. I'm betting you find ways to overlook that.Actually you guys are. Start with finding some sources to go on the record.
Oh I won’t challenge that he couldn’t have said it. Especially when it comes to McCain. But in this day and age nobody gets the benefit of unnamed sources anymore. Either side.“See, Bolten’s book never mentioned it, therefor it didn’t happen”. Using Bolten’s book as the arbitrator of truth? At least that is the way I see that tweet.
Honestly, it’s hard to believe a president saying this. The unnamed sources need to show their face or STFU. On the same token, I can imagine it is at least in the realm of possibility with Trump. This is all for nothing though....at the end of the day his supporters (or anti-Biden people or whatever) will still vote for him regardless. This won’t change many minds, if any.

And it's amusing to see you call the Lincoln Project "Russian propaganda" when their "ties" to Russia are dwarfed by Trump.
The Inside Scoop: Cabinet / Admin Members Opine on Donald Trump as President
Not that it matters, these are all just jaded ex-employees, right? Are going to pretend there are actually sources going on the record that would actually change your mind about any of this?
What was said on the record in that thread are opinions, not "he said or done xyz". Much of what is pasted in that thread is more quotes from anonymous sources.
How is that link helping your argument?
