Honestly, it’s hard to believe a president saying this. The unnamed sources need to show their face or STFU. On the same token, I can imagine it is at least in the realm of possibility with Trump. This is all for nothing though....at the end of the day his supporters (or anti-Biden people or whatever) will still vote for him regardless. This won’t change many minds, if any.

Oh I won’t challenge that he couldn’t have said it. Especially when it comes to McCain. But in this day and age nobody gets the benefit of unnamed sources anymore. Either side.

Bolton is not the "arbitrator" of truth but common sense tells us that if any of this was said and done it would have been in the book. People write books to make money and the more salacious the accusations the more copies will be sold.

Actually their ties to Russia dwarf Trumps but don't let facts get in your way.

Mattis and Kelly have expressed their opinions of the man. I can't remember any comments from them about Trump acting like or saying anything like this. If they did they would be credible sources.

Me saying tvolsfan is an azzhole on the record is not the same as me saying tvolsfan said or done this on the record.

Even if you ignore all the links between Manafort and Flynn, surely you didn't forget Donald Jr literally trying to set up a meeting with a Russian for dirt on Hillary Clinton. I'd think that tops almost working as a lobbyist for a Russian gas company.

There they are. If you are parsing opinion vs he said she said ok.

Honestly - if this were Hillary in the White House would you have such a high evidentiary standard and penchant for parsing your argument?
