Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Or the test is wrong. My step daughter tested positive, wife and I tested negative and we were both symptomatic. I’ll just assume I was negative all along but it’s pretty hard to believe.

This is why I roll my eyes with this “spikes” especially among young healthy folks. Nobody really knows and at the end of the day if you aren’t at risk it doesn’t even matter. This will run its course and tracking it is spotty, at best.

I agree with this.

But I have trouble believing that when 2 people sleep together every night, that it is possible for 1 to get it and not the other. Well it is possible, but I dont think very probable. Not claiming FC Vol or his wife did or didnt have it. Just saying.

why did you get tested ? It seems alot of people are getting tested just because it free

Wife tested after her grandparents tested positive and were admitted to the hospital. She was with them Saturday.

To add, her grandfather was released yesterday from the hospital. He is fine. Grandmother has a bunch of pre-existing issues and is still in the hospital. She is doing better as of today.

A partial transcript is as follows:
ANDERSON COOPER: I’m wondering what you thought of the scene at the White House, where there weren’t that many masks — we’ll also point out that protests today, a lot of people are wearing masks and not social distancing though, obviously not what it should be.
DR. ROB DAVIDSON: I was very concerned about the White House event last night — 1500 people packed shoulder to shoulder. The head of the White House coronavirus task force [Vice President Mike Pence] in attendance without a mask with his family, his elderly mother. It’s concerning. We know people weren’t tested. Only people in direct contact with President Trump had testing done. I think we’re going to see cases come out of that, it’s just modeling bad behavior. Now, when we juxtapose that to what’s happening in Washington, D.C., right now, people are mostly wearing masks. Now true, there are social distancing issues — however — this is a public health crisis they are marching against. Systemic racism has taken so many lives in this country, throughout our history.
If you’re born black in this country in 2017, you have a third-and-half year lower life expectancy if you’re white. If you’re a young black man, you have a 1/1000 change of being shot by police, three times more if you’re born white. I think when you’re marching against a public health emergency, I think you do every risk-mitigation process you can, but we understand that. We have to do the risk-benefit analysis and those folks are doing something very important today.

The Hypocrisy and politicization is astounding

What a joke this is. Joe needs to ask his friend Gretchen Whitmer and the Big 10 Commissioner about why they aren’t playing.

Holy crap! How can anyone watch this and not say, yep a Republican ad and then at the end a stupid corn pop beater banner shows up? They empty pews were especially powerful for the baby killer regime.

I share this sentiment. I used to hold very high respect for Democratic Party whether in House or Senate and never voted down party lines, but today's Democratic Party is not the same as it was even 4 to 6 years ago....sad really
The Dem party of today would call Bill Clinton, JFK, Jimmy Carter white supremact homophobes. Hell even Obama running during his first term was more conservative

I actually voted for Obama his first term....our country is so divided right now, and it scares me because we are as a country weak. Its the perfect time for opposing world powers to end America.
