It’s over in regards to the season. I mean look at the testing. I have friends that tested positive and no fever so why check temperatures? The friends that were positive and no fever told me it was like having a sinus infection. A couple of days and they were feeling great. I know COVID is real but so was H1N1,AIDS,flu and Ebola. I guess there is different levels to this thing. Keep the kids safe and cancel the season. If this turns out to be a hoax sue the media!

Who on earth gives up this easy?

Only thing I can figure is that you meant blue font.

Either that, or you're from the Big 10.

Not giving up and been a Vol fan since 1967. My family had season tickets from 1960 until 2012. I’m just saying how can you play when so many players will be out due to testing positive. What kind of a game will it be without a complete team?

Take Temps before entering , quit testing, play ball!!! Working for the High Schools.

Why in the world would they stop testing? Also, tons of high schools have shut back down, had in person classes delayed, etc. due to outbreaks. Not sure what exactly is working for them that's better than what UT Football is doing.

Maybe within the next month they will listen to the CDC and not test people unless they have symptoms so we can forget about it all.

I know of 7 kids who would obliviously be spreading the virus right now if not for being tested. Only one of them had symptoms at all. Thankfully they were all smart enough to be tested so they could keep it from older family members and the general public.

This whole "If we just don't test them, then we won't have a problem" thing needs to go. The whole point of testing is so you know how to stop the spread. If Person A is given a test and they test positive, you can keep Person A from spreading it even if they don't have symptoms, but if you just don't test Person A because they haven't shown symptoms then you stand the chance of Person A practicing and infecting the whole team.

There are so many other things we can debate about being practical or impractical but consistent testing is pretty important.

"I would rather it be now than in a month."

Yeah, except Pruitt just canceled practice with no timeline to resume. They are going to test everyone again and make that determination.

Edit: Forgot the d*mn quote.
