I was a big Lebron fan earlier in his career. His competitiveness and determination pales compared to Jordan. Jordan wins. However the best BB player of all time if not Jordan is Jabber.
Best is Jordon. Second best is Earvin Johnson. There's a reason he's called Magic. People put too much emphasis on scoring and ignore other aspects of the game. Magic Johnson was the ultimate adapter. He could and would play any position on the floor that he was asked to play.

The biggest difference between basketball now and basketball back then is mental toughness. There's some crazy physical talent in today's league, but none of them seem to possess the mental toughness that players used to have. About the closest I've seen is James Harden.

But that's JMO.

Before 2010 the NBA didn't realize that shooting 35% from 3 was better than 50% from 2. It's hard to quantify the greatness of an era of basketball that didn't even know how to be efficient.
Hell, they didn't adopt the 3pt line until like 1980.

2020 first team All NBA thumps 1992 Dream Team.

Just a different brand of BB...each era became more efficient. Back in the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s the big man dominated the league compared to guards/wings now.

You can quit watching, years ago, for whatever reason you like. And accept you gave up years ago. Just don't pretend to understand the game simultaneously. You clearly fail to understand modern college and nba basketball and its defense. It is a harder game to defend than ever before. Extremely athletic and spread offensive schemes and players rule the day. This ain't a bunch of big men sitting in the paint any longer...

Exactly why I love seeing Tobias, Grant Williams, guys like Admiral and Jrich. Guys are versatile and fun to watch. Your choice if you ignore them, but don't demean them and what they are a part of!!
Why are you taking this so personally? It's okay if you like the way they play now. It's okay if we don't.

According to 247's top 10 players in Tn, Tn has 2 of the 10 committed, none of the top 4.
7 out of the top 10 are committed elsewhere with only one undecided. Why is Tn doing so poorly in-state?

Terrible take. The staff preferred Hudson Wolfe over Briningstool, Coulson's parents were Michigan grads and we have better prospects, both committed and on the board ( Aaron Willis, Dylan Brooks, Terrence Lewis, Smael Mondon) at LB, Turrentine had questions about lateral quickness and wasn't pursued heavily, we lost out on Pennington to Clemson, Prince Kollie is brand new, family is devout Catholic, and again we're good on LB. The only other prospects in-state the staff likes are William Parker, Gooch, and Adonai Mitchell. Walker Merrill, Deion Colzie, and Jordan Mosley all address the spots that Adonai Mitchell would take (and are higher rated). Parker is trending towards us again after Bama's late push. We are doing just fine with the is class.

Why depend on the government. Why isn’t the parents fulfilling this role? If I were you I’d take the matter into my own hands instead of complaining about government for not providing for you. Just a thought
Why should the parents have to when they pay their taxes to help pay for this essential service? I'm sure the parents are doing what they can. Would you do the same for your child if the subject was calculus?

It's going to be rough this year but nah, we will win 4 at least. Mark that down.
Our 4th win will be against Kentucky. Normally, that would be an awful year, but not this year.
Our 2nd 4th win of the year will be against Auburn.
Our 3rd in the series of 4th wins is TBA. But at the midway point, we beat florida...

😎 GBO! GTFOC!

Thank you! 🧡

It’s so cool to see some of your real names in these donations. Real loving people. We have made tremendous strides for his fundraiser and I have VolNation to thank. I haven’t tallied it up but I’m pretty sure posters have accounted for up to and maybe more than a third of the campaigns current amount. 💪🏻

Take a bow VN. I never doubted you would come through. My SIL’s boss who is a former athlete and current donor has asked Uncle Phil if he’d like to share a message for Drew. I am pretty sure he is going to make Fulmer say no to his face 😆.

I also have a bit of news in regards to his treatment. Today brought some real tangible progress towards a plan. They will build a digital model of his spine tomorrow and begin proton therapy as early as Tuesday. It’s pretty incredible stuff where they can shape the concentrated proton beam into the pattern of tumor and essentially paint the cancer delicately with minimal radiation to the surrounding structures and tissue. In contrast regular radiation is like a garden hose set on shower mode.

Lord I hope it works. GB🍊
