I thought about that as well. They maybe messed up on the logistics and pulled The old quarters and then covid hit during production. With fewer quarters more dimes and nickels had toKnew there had to be an explanation for the coin shortage. Damned bats got our currency too!
I thought you were in Memphis?I guess it just depends on how organized and proactive the district is. I feel bad for those that aren’t. My 4th grader is in a gifted class, and he leaves his regular one and joins a new Zoom class every day at the same time. That teacher is devoted to her students who are virtual. I’ve been pretty impressed, but we are also blessed to be in one of, if not, best districts in the state.
Hope you didn’t pull a @Bassmaster_Vol and purchase his #81 now that he switched to #17Only nfl jersey I’m going to own
I agree. I don't think there's much power there either and I belonged to it the first few years of teaching.Do they not? I had heard differently, but admittedly the person that said it was not in the school system.
Those 3 would be totally bored playing against today's defenses.Football has changed due to the offensive and defensive schemes, not a lack of defensive intensity. The NBA game has changed because they simply do not put forth the effort on the defensive side of the ball. A guy makes one juke and the defensive player gives up. This never happened in the Magic, Bird and Jordan era’s. Heck I bet I could score double figures in today’s NBA game and I’m turning 59 this year and only 5’7 tall.
Exact same with the NBA. Better offensive systems. This is a time of spread offenses, not packing in tall centers and power fowards down low...Football has changed due to the offensive and defensive schemes, not a lack of defensive intensity. @de1conley what is Cooper thinking?
I watch enough. The effort is not there. It appears many in this thread feel the same way.Lol sure. Nothing to do with spread floor offenses and extreme closeouts and 1on1s.
Just coach defensive effort in the nba and you could be a gamechanger head coach
You said you don't watch the nba, now I believe you.

The NBA stopped being worth watching when they stopped playing defense. Watched the first half of the Warriors and Lebron Cavaliers a couple of years ago during game 1 of the Championship series Switched the channel to the Travel channel at halftime in disgust. What a joke the NBA has become.
I understand the change from the classic 2 g, 2 f and center standard. There is still a lack of effort. Guys do not play with intensity on defense and they are more athletic on the defensive side of the ball too. Your argument fails.Years ago? Sure.
And you still don't get how athletic and spread the game has become. Otherwise, a team could just play defense and win it all. Whoops.
You can quit watching, years ago, for whatever reason you like. And accept you gave up years ago. Just don't pretend to understand the game simultaneously. You clearly fail to understand modern college and nba basketball and its defense. It is a harder game to defend than ever before. Extremely athletic and spread offensive schemes and players rule the day. This ain't a bunch of big men sitting in the paint any longer...I understand the change from the classic 2 g, 2 f and center standard. There is still a lack of effort. BumpDonated this morning @engineerVOL. Figured since I thought I donated 4 times last night I'd go ahead and give that. Gotta stay in the big man's good graces. Little over halfway there, let's keep this going VolNation.
