I ended up buying a cheap Lenovo for m staples yesterday. $299. It will do what it's tasked to do. I was surprised that it had a 1 TB hard drive. It will run some diagnostic software.

My Dell wasn't a cheap Dell. It was a very large touch screen that I ran a CAD on and it has performed well for I'm guessing 8 years. I'll have to replace it soon so I can do my CAD work away from the office. I'm going to have someone look at it for me to make sure it's not something that can be repaired easily.
What CAD software do u run?

I just read where Jayson Swain was quoted saying something along the lines of - if Tee Martin was the coach, Cade Mays would've been approved to play immediately. Anybody else see/hear this quote? What is swain trying to say?

I'd say he hinting that Smart blocked it because he doesn't like Pruitt.

Oh ok, I'm not familiar with that. I've ran a few Autodesk programs, and currently use a couple Civil programs.
Years ago, I couldn't afford to put out $2-3K for AutoCAD. I had a friend tell me that TurboCAD would do everything I needed. They had a free trial and I tried it. I went and bought it and have been using it for close to 20 years. It's done everything I've needed it to do. It actually can do more than I know how to use, 3D modeling and such.

My son who is entering his junior year at UT as an EE thinks I'm archaic. He uses some other app, Framework I think.

I’d love some sort of autocad light that I could use to help some clients with design work, not nearly as convoluted as full on autocad though. I’m extremely proficient with autocad which has made learning any other programs quite challenging.
