Not necessarily but Mark DeRosa was just coming up with “blockbusters” that would be fun trades. He had a couple more

That’s part of it. Boston is already under the tax I believe and projects to be under next year I think so I’m not sure how motivated they are to eat the Eovaldi contract.

Would half be enough? That saves them $17m ($8.5M per year)

He absolutely sucks at third so that’s most likely not a long term position.I’m just not as sold that last year was real as much as you guys

Definitely some concerns but only 23, under team control through 2023 and you could DH if he’s that bad at third.

Take out the 8 earned he gave up in that one start and his ERA is 3.41 this year
