One of the most rockin' sets of music I ever saw was Staind. Just the band, a black backdrop, and they brought it for an hour straight. This was right before they blew up with that cheesy song he did with Fred Durst. I feel like he's been super whiny ever since.

Their first two albums "Tormented" and "Dysfunction" were great. "Break the Cycle" was good but could definitely tell they were going radio friendly. "14 Shades of Grey" was a very underrated album imo. "The Illusion of Progress" was where I lost all faith in them. I've seen them 4 times.
