The lagging numbers hurt this some.Cumberland County had 29 new cases today, 15 old case recoveries, so net increase of 14 active cases. Your transmission rate as of today stands at 1.15. It's not the highest in the state. That would be Overton, a.k.a. Covid County, TN, which is whichever county has the highest transmission rate.
Kingsport went green today, Sullivan County.
The overall positivity rate today was 7.24% which is really good to be that low. Today the number of active cases in the state fell to the lowest level since July 25th but we've been trapped in a range for the last almost 4 weeks. I've been expecting the total number of active cases to consistently drop for some time now. It hasn't happened yet. We'll see what happens in the next few days.

Late catching up here, but prayers for your nephew and you and your family. I have no words that would help but want you to know I will pray vigorously for Drew. Really sorry is all I can say. This will be final update on Drew for awhile. I don’t want to sour things up anymore especially as we approach the happy time of football camp. Which I hope provides some levity and escape.
But my brother received word from the oncologist, radiologist, and neurologist that the outlook is not real good. A very difficult fight ahead. The tumors are sort of spiderwebbed around his spine and into the bone and base of his brain. Biopsy and bone removal Monday, likely two week stay as they blast him with chemo to make it workable.
Go God. Go Vols. And LOL at Kentucky...
Good grief, you expect him to take no salary? What about Capt 4 Mill? Man, id hate to see your expectations for other people. That is ridiculous to expect someone, even AD to take no salary. This isnt a not for profit.
I know I’m doing it again, but I can’t help it.
Watching these videos and seeing these pictures, we look like a different team. We are bigger, faster, we are experienced. I really think we’re gonna break out this year.
it’s true this year dang it
Charles McRae and Cosey Coleman each were recruited as DLs, McRae actually started at NT as a freshman for a really bad defensive line (1988). Next year Johnny brings in Larry Lacewell to be the DC and they bring in a boatload of Juco DLs including (I think) Chris Mims and Todd Kelly, Sr. So hope this young man has the same level transition.
Behind Morris/Wright and J Johnson/Calbert, no other tackles. Perry will probably find the field quicker thereReginald Perry starting out listed on the new roster with the OL. Smart move I think. jmo.
I changed the post since I was a half-a-moment behind the previous post. We need guys like him going forward, think Jahmir Johnson replacement. jmo.
They were coming back from commerical and he didn't know the mic was on and said "and that's one of the "F" Capitals".He had to have said the "F" word, right ?
Never seen so many freshmen enter fall camp with SEC playing weight. Were coming!I know I’m doing it again, but I can’t help it.
