7-3/8-2...ain't scared. JG gonna finally do something good, by simply not being awful.

the OL and the run game will drive the bus this year.

the defense will be stout...DL and back end are in good shape, and LB outside of HT has a ton of potential. only potential pitfall i see is depth on the DL....it's not quite where we'd like it yet....

kicking game should be in good hands.. and i think we injected some speed in the return game with some of the young guys...

last is WR....so much potential, just not proven. they have, as a group, a realtively big hill to climb.....but i think we have the right coaches and OC in place to get it out of them.

the biggest weakness on this team, imo, is TE with Pope going down.....i think we're definitley good enough to beat 7 of the teams on our schedule. compete adequately with 2 and be 50/50 with the last one.

turnovers for/against will be big....and can we possess the ball....

i like the schedule. can't wait.

Thinking about swapping careers. I have a CDL right now but thinking about going to get certification operating cranes. Does anyone work in that field, or know anyone? Just curious about how hard it is to get a job and Just is it worth it. Thanks guys
don't know a thing about crane operation...but CDL drivers that have all thier certifications and a clean driving record can pretty much write their own ticket right now.....

Local Operators Union hall would be a good place to start.

That’s what I was about to say. I’m making more now than I’ve ever made and I’ve got a gravy train kind of run plus I’m home every night. Hard to beat it. There’s a difference in having your CDL and having one with a clean driving record. Knock on wood, I’ve got nearly 10 years experience and I’m squeaky clean.

yep. to say cdl drivers are in demand would be an understatement....of the giant kind.

Jake calling his shot now. Solid post my friend

Yeah and the industry is in flux much like everything else but logistics is the heart that pumps the blood of the economy
it kinda is, but it kinda isn't. capacity is shrinking....we're busy as hell....and not just because of labor/equipment issues....we are actually at levels right now that we saw in 2018 and parts of 2019...but with companies like Amazon, Home Depot, Lowes etc.....they are in full swing, and their vendors can't get stuff out fast enough, same for Target,, wal mart and other big box retailers/distributors.....S**t thru a goose would be an adequate description of how fast product is moving....hard to keep up in some segments.....

biggest problem we have right now is we can't hire dock/drivers fast enough.................or that can pass a hair follicle test...lol.

Yeah it’s real sad. Who are you working for if you don’t mind me asking?

the 5 games, imo, to pay attention to would be Auburn, aTm, UF, UGA, Bama. need 2-3/3-2 in those 5.....hate we have to go back to Auburn after we just went down there, but i am excited about aTm coming to Knoxville. i think we can win both.

the other thing to pay attention to is attrtition...and not just for us, but all the conf teams....depth will be tested, and if you wanted to pick a reason to pick or not to pick a team this season w/out having seen a down of football from anyone, i'd start with the deepest rosters having an edge...so you have to look at Bama, UGA, LSU as probably the top three....may be coin tosses after that with teams like Auburn, aTm, FL, TN....KY....

Yeah, my record is clean and have a decent job. Home every night, where I’m at now just wears you down. The hours are all over the place hard to get used to with 2 kids.
