Huh? His QB rating was garbage when he couldn’t think.
His was higher than all of 2 returning QBs. But, Newman played scrubs in the ACC and Mac Jones hardly played (and had 3 NFL level WRs).

Say what you want about JG, he is good under pressure and 3rd downs. It's merely the other 2/3ds of situations he needs to improve on 😁

Such a weird year. I wonder how Vegas is going to do the first few weeks.

I would rather play S.C. early than late. Bobo hasn’t had a lot of time to implement his offense.

We all know it’ll come down to QB play. If JG is good we will win easily
And they have no quality receivers or safetys. Their strongest group might be d-line but they are very inexperienced going against our o-line. The only matchup i'm worried about is our inexperience at receiver and their corners.

I think our WR group is going to surprise people

Doesn’t mean they are officially opting out, it does apparently mean they’re thinking about it. Grimes is the big one here, he’d be a helluva loss, he’s big time.

Toney, meh, good playmaker but he missed 10 games last year, only caught 9 balls and UF went 11-2. They can live without him.

Copeland, frankly I hope he stays opted out. He’s my least favorite Gator in a long time. You guys probably remember his nonsense during recruiting. His career has been filled with dissing teammates and coaches, whining about playing time even though he hasn’t completely learned the playbook, sluggish effort when he did get the opportunity to play, pissy attitude, taking 6 months to recover from a “pulled quad” and now thinking about opting out, apparently. He can go.

But yes, Grimes would be a big hit and Toney would too even though he missed most of last year. He plays the same position as Freddie Swain who got drafted.

we need Palmer to show he’s a no.1 receiver

How deep are y'all at WR?
As deep as Mullen's wife at a football recruiting party?
