How about a r

How about a recipe? Looks great!
Real simple. Trimmed the fat to about 1/4” (watch some YouTube videos), salt, pepper, and smoke for hours on end. Spritzed it occasionally with an apple cider vinegar mix.

Meanwhile, I cooked breakfast, helped clean the house, napped, worked out, and mowed the lawn. Stupid simple on a pellet grill. Just have good thermometers.

Makes sense, we need the SEC to get stronger!

No, we really don't. We're already the top conference and play a ridiculous schedule every year. If we were in a different conference and/or played many other teams' schedules we'd have been in the top 25 more often than not even in this last decade of despair. Our conference doesn't need to get better or stronger. We need other conferences to have to face the same amount of competition day in and day out that we do. The playoffs allow teams in crappy conferences to skate -pain and injury free- all the way to the championship game while teams from the SEC beat the crap out of each other and limp into the post-season. It's an unfair system that rewards teams for weak schedules and punishes those with strong ones. At this point, the SEC getting any stronger would diminish the likelihood that anyone from our conference wins the title again because make no mistake teams like Clemson, OU, and tOSU are very, very good teams and they are coming into the post-season with less fatigue, fewer injuries, and less grind than our teams are.

Wasn’t he being sarcastic bruh?

Truth

This will be final update on Drew for awhile. I don’t want to sour things up anymore especially as we approach the happy time of football camp. Which I hope provides some levity and escape.

But my brother received word from the oncologist, radiologist, and neurologist that the outlook is not real good. A very difficult fight ahead. The tumors are sort of spiderwebbed around his spine and into the bone and base of his brain. Biopsy and bone removal Monday, likely two week stay as they blast him with chemo to make it workable.

Go God. Go Vols. And LOL at Kentucky...
Maybe I'm speaking for myself, but football is meaningless considering what this young man and his family are going through. There are no words that I can say to ease the hurt and pain. Drew and the entire family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Would you consider the Pennsylvania governors decision to be a political one here? @ChismsHeadband I would consider it to be political as he has stated that protests are worth the risk but high school sports are not.

What he stated is true. It is not political. A governor and a Conference President should not be able to decide if kids can play sports. That should be up to the Kids and their families period. We are supposed to be able to be free in this nation. If the individuals who want to support sports and play them are okay with it then they should be allowed to period.

I understand where you are coming with this, and I totally respect your decision. However, I fully advise not to hinder the power of prayer. A lot of people here on VN are and will continue to pray for your nephew and his family. It's one of the things we are called to do, lifting each other up in prayer.

My Nephew is 8 and has already had 4 heart surgeries. He was born with a rare heart condition. He is okay but will need a transplant in his 20’s-30’s. Some things just suck.

Yes, they do. I'm so sorry to hear about your nephew's heart condition. Kids shouldn't have to face that kind of struggle.

Bigly suck. Kids should not have to go through this. But I’m reminded today... As adults we complain and think about ourselves way more than children do. They press on. God bless them.

Interesting post by the beloved Ma, who knows a lot about TN govt, on ToS saying liability should not be an issue for UT:

Tennessee:
"During session they passed legislation addressing liability for businesses, healthcare, others and public universities. Because UT is a state university, it has some coverage under sovereign immunity.
I think issue has been addressed .....and the lawyers here can speak about it.
Ma"
