Congrats to her. We had a drive up back earlier in the summer for underclass honors and awards. I guess she's starting back remote??View attachment 299763
Tiffany took liitle bit by the middle school to clean her locker out, and get her awards.
They're offering both. They want to go, but we're not really sure what to do. I look for it all to go virtual. They've already moved it twice, and they don't even start till September 8th as of now.Congrats to her. We had a drive up back earlier in the summer for underclass honors and awards. I have to agree with whoever said it, you don’t ever smile in any of your pictures, why?View attachment 299995@Souce. My bite me look you little turd.

They're offering kids the chrome books here if they do online. I agree though, bout time we decide something will probably change. We've had teacher workdays all this week and will have them all next week.
Our kids come back on Monday (24th).
We have to provide a 20-30 minute instructional video each day to each class, plus assignments to last about 30 minutes. Then, we go online "live" for the final 20 minutes or so to answer questions and just talk to the kids.
Our block has been modified from 90 to 70 minutes.
We are required to post the instructional content videos because a lot of the kids do not have Internet in rural areas, but the county has provided hotspots where they can go and download all their content (except, of course, the live part).
All our students have Chromebooks and will be using Google Classroom. With the schedule I have this fall, I've already had most of these students in class before, and I've used GC for three years now. The weird part is going to be my making the videos. (I have never even taken a selfie before HA.)
About half the people I teach with (the ones with kids) are sending their kids on to school (optional for preK-3). Grades 4+ are remote.
This is going to be different for everyone involved.
You don't have to be sure right now. A lot can happen in the next 3 weeks. If 2020 has taught us anything, it's taught us that.
My granddaughter who lives here with us started back this past Monday (the 10th). The city schools were remote only for all grades. It devastated her because it was her first day of first grade, and she didn't get to see her friends. Her first week of first grade occurred at the kitchen table. They did not provide Chromebooks to the kids, and my daughter bought her a tablet that is quirky with GC (teacher cannot see them on the live feed). Remote is just not the same, in my book. They're offering kids the chrome books here if they do online. I agree though, bout time we decide something will probably change.
My granddaughter goes back to in person school on the 19th, she’s been texting me about how worried she is.My granddaughter who lives here with us started back this past Monday (the 10th). I hear you bub. I quit smoking easy years ago and for some dumbazz reason years later I started dipping and chit. It's like crack. I dipped Copenhagen natural fine then when I tried to quit I Vaped and dip Copenhagen natural pouches I was able to quit vaping but now I can't get pass the pouches. Atleast I don't have tobacco getting in my teeth but the pouches are still hard to kick. And when I was dipping Copenhagen natural fine cut the pouches did nothing for my craving, It's the crack of tobacco. The real truth, and don't tell these goobs, I usually have a dip in.
Yeah, the kids I've had in class have sent me a lot of emails this summer because I'm not on social media, and they want to go back. But several of them expressed that same apprehension to me. I hate it for the kids most of all.My granddaughter goes back to in person school on the 19th, she’s been texting me about how worried she is.
