Political humor in general is complete trash. Veep is the only one that did it well because they satired the entire institution and how broke it all is.

Could be. Neither got easy additions - A&M got UF and UT, and Auburn got UT and SC. But Mizzou got Bama and LSU. At least on paper those latter 2 additions seem more daunting.

I was thinking the ones that thought they had a longshot to win their division only to be given 2 more games to make it almost impossible while those with a good shot were given 2 games to make it easier. TN, KY, AU, A&M v AL, GA, LSU, FL.

Imo the SEC/ACC/Big 12 should be prepping scientific evidence on why they believe the season can be played as well as the exact protocols they are going to follow and should release it in order to cut those conferences off ahead of time.

A defensive argument isn't even needed imo

That's crazy bad for them but good for us.

I am leaning toward the SEC actually having a season. What would shut it down is increasing infections for team members and coaches. This hasn't happened yet and I think the medical staffs can do enough preaching and testing to keep the players and coaches safe. Sure, some will break the rules occasionally and they will pay the price. What is almost a certainty is that the students who return to campus are not going to behave! We need to remember that at least a fourth of these are freshmen who have never been outside their parents house. The ones who behave are going to be sitting in classes with the ones who didn't and also hanging out at a lot of the same places with them. There will be football and basketball players in some of these classes also. So if enough players stay healthy, there will probably be football and basketball seasons. But it appears more likely that there will be a small number of fans, if any, at these games.
