Marxist Black Lives Matter

Don’t you think people should be prepared? If and when the time comes It could happen very quickly, like the collapse of the dollar, and comms may be limited.

Rightfully or wrongly the word "militia" carries a bad connotation these days. A group calling themselves a militia will be portrayed in the media as a white supremacist or nationalist group whether they are or not. They will draw the attention of law enforcement and probably end up drawing the wrong kind of people. They need to call themselves The "X" Sportsmens Club or The "x" Woodsmens Group. Something innocuous.

Yes I believe in being prepared, I'm just not a joiner.

Really just need to build a structure With contingencies and no need to even gather Or have any name. Off the radar.

Those asking about militia. This is the official militia for Tennessee. It says founded in 1985...that would mean my Pappaw was there from pretty much its inception. I know they can be used at the Governors discretion like the NG...but I am not sure where their other directives come from. I do know that they have the same command structure and chain of command as other military branches like the Army, USAF, etc i have a few badges from them.

good stuff M - it was reactivated in 1985, its history goes back a ways.

Cool. I had never looked at their wiki...seems like a cool volunteer service. My Pappaw served 26 straight out of HS, then went to work for TVA in Knoxville and retired from them after 20...he was always a military man though and loved it. My dad retired as a Colonel and was a base cmdr for his years 24-26 in the AF reserve...he never told stories like Pappaw though or talked much about military after retiring.

The only stories my Pappaw ever told where he cried, and he sat and told stories every evening Lol...were about when they would do emergency evacuations from Korea and have triage on base in the Phillipines. It was "all hands on deck" so he and his men were involved sometimes even though they loaded bombs and missiles...not people. He talked about them lining stretchers down the side of the street at the flight line and the doctors and nurses walked up and down the line trying to determine who could be saved and who was too far gone. He remembered there was so much blood lost that it ran down the street and was running into the storm drain. He would always start crying when he shook his head and said " ...and they were just KIDS..." by this time he was around 40 years old, and just like the junior NCOs that worked for him in his squadron, they were just 18, 19, 20yo kids. He was a father figure to them, and felt a responsibility to them. It killed him to see those kids missing limbs and shot full of holes. I never saw him cry much at all, and he was the closest person to me growing up. He could never talk about those planes full of kids without crying though.

Anyway, long story. Sorry. I miss my Pappaw nearly every day. I will never be half the man that he was, and is.

Dolly supports BLM! Leg-humpers' heads explode across the Southeast.

The 74-year-old country music legend co-owns the amusement park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, and has said that following the movement toward racial justice, she decided to alter the name of the 'Dixie Stampede' ride, as the word "Dixie" has links to slavery.
Dolly was inspired to make the change after musicians The Chicks dropped the word from their former band name, Dixie Chicks.
She said: "There's such a thing as innocent ignorance, and so many of us are guilty of that. When they said 'Dixie' was an offensive word, I thought, 'Well, I don't want to offend anybody. This is a business. We'll just call it The Stampede'.
"As soon as you realise that [something] is a problem, you should fix it. Don't be a dumba**. That's where my heart is. I would never dream of hurting anybody on purpose."

Does she know any black people? Black people don’t care if she changes the name Dixie..... white people are so stupid with their virtue signaling

Tell me about it. You're signaling yours right now. "Does she know any black people" is a real winner in certain circles.

I live in a overwhelmingly black community.... I’m by far the minority here..... my best friend is black and his two daughters practically live at my place..... they have real needs and wants....Black people are no different than white people..... they just want to be treated equally, fairly, and justly... they want prison and police reform.... they don’t want to get rid of the police.... they want opportunities for growth for them and their family to be available to them... Changing syrup bottles and getting rid of the name Dixie is silly and does absolutely nothing to help better them or their children’s lives.

Yeah because nobody has ever been found guilty that was innocent.
I’m all for public hanging if it meets a certain burden of proof..... I use to watch this show showing real life murder re-enactments from the 1800’s.... a woman murdered her husband.... they tried her in court the next morning and hung her in the middle town that night.... it is amazing how much the world has changed since then.

You should share these sentiments in the BLM thread and not try to call all involved in the movement thugs, rioters, vandals. Next time they are over, share some of your VN posts with them. It will be fun.

As for the last sentence, it shouldn't bother you that she changed the name then. She doesn't need to be attacked for it now does she?

Who is attacking her? It’s a message board which is where we give opinions on various subject including this idiocy...

Black lives matter means different things to different people.... The overwhelming majority feel that black lives matter, they should be treated equally and have room for growth..... The actual Black lives movement is being over taken by people that want to use that mantra for violence and destruction...... all these issues, everyone agrees needs to be corrected but no one wants to truly work to correct them.
