This is from Pat Forde, the guy who absolutely campaigned for college football to be cancelled for his political reasons.

Nebraska should absolutely leave the big 10. Do it.

Whatever your politics, that’s awful. Forde should be ashamed of himself for authoring that garbage.

Apparently a school wanting to play football is sufficient grounds for insulting one of the best fanbases in the sport.

IIRC I heard on the radio the other day the B1G owns their TV rights till mid 2030's. Even if they leave the conference. If true, they're not walking away from that.

Did Forde really write this? That is pure snobbery and elitism, and it's not even accurate. I don't like Nebraska, but they are no worse than the 6th best program in the Big 10... with a tradition of winning that is no worse than 4th.

SEC - Checkers

B1G - Tiddlywinks

If the NFL is able to start its season without any problems, and if a number of states are able to play high school football without any major issues, there shouldn’t be any reason the SEC would have to cancel. But if the NFL struggles and if high schools are shutting down football across the country, then it will probably be pretty obvious that the SEC can’t play, either.

I think this sets up the SEC nicely to have others be the guinea pigs, to some extent, and do the hard part first. And it even prevents the SEC from having to be the bad guys, if that’s how it ends up going, whereas the Big Ten and Pac-12 already have made a tough decision that has people in their own conferences pretty upset.
