Because the big media outlets are small fries in comparison to the parent companies than own them, most of which want to push agendas.

It's like Bezos owning WaPo. They could bleed money and earn nothing for a century and he has more than enough money to keep them afloat.

I don’t get why it’s so difficult for some to fathom that people just interpret information differently.

Some look at the numbers and think the virus is serious.

Some look at the same numbers and say it’s not that serious.

It’s all interpretation. Not everything is a conspiracy, people. Of course there are those that have their own personal feelings but that doesn’t mean everybody who disagrees with you is pushing some “commie, liberal, leftist, soy boy, socialist, anti-American” agenda. Sometimes it just means they disagree with you. That’s it. It’s like there is no more discussion of issues these days - you’re either right or left and those are the only choices bc that’s what you’ve been told you have to be by both politicians and talking heads on tv. And that goes for BOTH sides.

And I’m someone who takes the virus seriously but also wants football and thinks that any decision should wait as long as possible and every conceivable avenue should be explored to implement the protocols needed. Spend the time and energy figuring it out and then spend the damn money to make it happen and let’s find a path forward.
