The players are amateurs, yet the coaches are not amateur coaches.

That is correct. How the universities determine that value is up to them...just as how they determine the value of professors (students aren’t paid), band directors, presidents, administutors, librarians, janitorial staff, etc. is up to them.

What site was doing the player position group previews? Haven’t seen some since d-line and I can’t remember where to find them (too lazy to look).
