Obama should apologize for shameful cash payment to Iran

I have addressed that so-called "cash payment to Iran" probably a dozen times on here... Basically, Obama was negotiating the deal to halt Iran's nuclear program. In order to get that done, the United States had to settle a claim from 1979 when Iran was still ruled by the Shah and they had purchased fighter jet equipment that was never delivered following the revolution and American embassy hostage crisis. Obama didn't pay Iran anything. Iran was returned money owed to them, plus over 30 years of interest. That is such a tired refrain... and neither Obama or Trump are responsible for ISIS. They originated in 1999, and first came to the attention of United States intelligence in 2003, following the Iraq invasion and their participation in the insurgency, under George W. Bush.

That was a completely lame attempt at "what-about-ism", and doesn't begin to explain why Trump is so scared of Russia.
