Just pointing out material conditions in two eras....
The French Revolution did not help the masses very much as you know.
An out-of-power, but still elite 1 percent faction roused the rabble with "liberté égalité fraternité" propaganda, and recruited enough pitchfork wielding bullet eaters to prevail.
Except once the in-power, entrenched 1%-ers ran out of bullets, and what really changed for the peasant? The survivors went right back to being peasants, and were rewarded with 15 years of military rule.
If you are referring to a "revolution" in the U.S., it's too late. The U.S. now has a Panopticon surveillance apparatus that would make Hitler/ Stalin weep with joy.
Most importantly, the divisiveness among 'our' population makes any coherent opposition impossible, exactly as the 1percent want it.
