Economy crashing, pandemic running riot for 5 months, enabling racists since day 1, bowing down to Putin since before day 1, actively driving a wedge between the people on his side and those who aren't, consistently attacking the separation of powers, threatening to cancel an election that he's currently projected to lose. Pardoning his corrupt cronies. Other than that not a bad job at all lol.

The media is more to blame for the economic crash caused by covid. He communicates terribly but they drove the "everyone will die" narrative into the ground

All the rest has been done by many others before him. I think he's a terrible and an ineffective leader but he's not the worst. Heck I put gwb above him and that's pretty recent

Oh I dunno, maybe invoke the Defense Production Act to produce the COVID tests that he claimed we already had. Which would have allowed for contact tracing and containment. But since he lied about "anyone who needs a test can get one", I guess he would have had to admit he lied.

But instead, here we find ourselves with off and on again partial shutdowns, while you steadfastly claim he could have done "nothing legally" to affect, one way or another.

Everything I said he's done and has been reported on by multiple sources and probably exhaustively talked about in this forum. I know you know this and have seen examples. The fact that you refuse to even acknowledge it shows that you like to keep your head buried in the sand.

He did and I haven't heard of anyone not being able to get a test in the last 3-4 months.

Regardless of whether he's the worst in our short history, in my opinion we've been blessed as a nation historically to have the right leader at the right time...Washington during Revolutionary Period, Lincoln during Civil War, TDR & WHT during early part of 20th century, FDR during depression and WWII, and Reagan at the end of the Cold War era. I would argue that at this point in time of our nation's history, we certainly have the wrong person occupying the office. JMO, so TIFWIW.

Contact tracing? You think that can be implemented in the US without violating rights?

The shutdowns need to end. This farce has gone on long enough

I absolutely must disagree with a couple of your examples. Lincoln (already been discussed 1000 times), FDR because he gave away eastern Europe to the Russians and was basically Stalin's bitch. Not to mention his unconscionable executive power grabs during the damn and leading up to the second WW.

But we already had them, according to him, right? Waiting until about May to boost production of swabs, really put us on track get ahead of the spread, huh? But you will keep insisting there was nothing he could have done, this we know.

Hell here in TN we had drive up testing in April. We were testing thousands of people per day.

And check your virus stats. We have yet to even get in the neighborhood of the amount of H1N1 infections nationally. Wonder why this wasn't done to Obama. Oh. Right. Dem politics. Cause the GOP certainly didn't stoop to do this to Obama.

Do I really think people would have been eager to be tested to help slow the spread? Yes I do.

Do I think Hog would have? I have my doubts.

But since we are where we are, and Trump uses his daily briefings as political rallies, rather than anything useful, I'd say the possibilities of containment have been blown.

But sure let's open back up the bars restaurants back to 100%. That'll fix the economy, pronto.
