2020 Presidential Race

And Hillary's was spearheaded by Trumps tax returns. Neither ran on much of a platform, same as this time. So I will go with the lesser of the two evils.
Like it or not, she would have had the WH up and running quickly with policy ready to go. Trump floundered around and then just put Jared in charge of everything

The lesser of 2 evils is still evil

It will when it gets him reelected.

That's more than likely not happening. Anyone with half a mind is seeing that he is losing right now. For the sake of my point, though, we'll take a trip to LaLa Land and assume he somehow pulls it out.

How is that really a victory? Four more years of being an insufferable prick with no compromise from not only the left, but a growing chunk in his own party?

Lol, is that a true victory in your eyes?

I think @Grand Vol was right, Trump was the dog chasing the car. When he caught it he had no ****ing idea what to do because even he didn't think he was going to win.

Its better than continuing to funnel money to our enemies and allowing China to run behind our backs and do whatever the F they want. Plus with the way the Dems are feeding this SJW BS do you actually think them being in charge is a good thing? I dont enjoy seeing my country being lit on fire, stoops being burned down, and calls for our protection to be defunded.

Its not a victory with either candidate.

You know all this happened under Trump, right?

1. Hes been tougher on China and Iran than the Dems wouldve.
2. His hands were tied and you know that as well as I do. He did the best thing he could've. If he jumps in full guard with the military he is viewed as a tyrant and attacked even more than he already is. If he sits back and does nothing then its why didnt you do something. He offered state leaders assistance in cleaning up the mess and only moved in when requested. Even if you dislike him you've got to give him credit for that. Dem leaders were never going to ask for his help, because it makes him look bad.

The current Democratic nominee told everyone the left's favorite Republican was going to put all black people back in chains. The idea that the left only became so bitter and standoffish because of Trump is absurd. Bipartisan discourse is over. The Left's idea of a good conservative is one that shuts up and loses.

Of all the crap Trump has said, the thing he did that pissed off the left the most is win the election in 2016. The Republican party is split between those that want polite discourse with the left, and those that want to win. That won't magically go away when Trump leaves. For as ****ed up as the Democrats are, they at least have no such confusion. They all know how to win, and what avenues to fight in.

That's a cool spin but it could easily be interpreted as his willful inaction because he didn't want to help Dem governors. You also can't attribute China completely to him. Iran wasn't necessarily handled well.

His hands didn't have to be tied. He also held the house fkr two years. If Obama could get the ACA passed, then why couldn't Trump get even ONE thing done that he set out to do?

Numerous Dem governors have asked him for help

How much have we heard about Iran's Nuke programs continuing, or testing like we did under Obama?
You're second question is a good one, I wasn't there I cant answer that. I will try to compare it to COVID negotiations. Reds wanted 1 trillion, Blues wanted 3 trillion. Blue came down to 2. Trump says its because they are trying to push things through that has nothing to do with COVID. We all know politicians do this, could it be because he wasn't going to pass a bill with extra stuff in there?

Right each side has their own spin to how it was handled, you and I will probably never agree, I say he couldn't, you say he didnt do enough. Its potato pot tat o.

How would his hands NOT be tied this time?

That's the thing of a leader, you lead no matter the opposition or what goes your way. He tried once, and has hence been throwing hissy fits.
