Just reflecting on some of the olden days, and I had forgotten that in the 95 World Series we got to see Maddux vs Hershiser twice. 2 great pitchers, not 2 throwers going at it.

I may have posted this before. In 1995, I lived in ATL about 15 minutes from the stadium and coming off the strike year, they sold general admission tickets in the upper deck for $2.50. We figured out the exact seats in the front row in the CF bleachers where you could see directly over the pitcher’s shoulder. I probably saw about 10 Maddux starts that year and it was incredible.
