Can someone explain to me how going back to school to classrooms and dorms and parties is allowed but playing sports and getting tested 3x a week being closely monitored isn't?

I talked with a P5 staff member today. Players want to play. They do not want to go home. They feel safe on campus. They have clothes, food, shelter and school. Plus they get to play the game they love.

This student led crap is small minority.
IMO, Progressive, socialist administrators have been looking for opportunity to shutdown sports. Many in academia want sports gone. ADs need to man up.

I’m retweeting every player that’s using the hashtag and copying their commissioner on it. I encourage everyone else to do the same. We saved our program 3 years ago and we can damn sure save college football this year.

Lots of people work jobs to pay for their school. Hell, lots of people work jobs and still have to take loans to pay for their school.

Worked 40+ per week to pay rent and bills and took out loans to cover tuition.

These kids want to play and they are the safest they can be while at school following strict protocols.

On top of all of that, people are banking on the vaccine being ready by early 2021 and advocating for a Spring season. Guess what there are no guarantees that there will be a vaccine ready by early 2021.

Also, if the vaccine is ready by January, they are going to get distributed to Military and Federal Employees before anyone.

They will not be ready for mass production/distribution until about April/May..... so please tell me how that is viable? Especially with athletes who want to go to the NFL etc.

Question, have you been working during this entire pandemic? Traveling from different states, eating in different places? Staying in hotels?

Because I have. During the entire pandemic. Guess what, I’ve never had Covid-19 and I’ve been in some of the worst hit states to include Boston, Massachusetts; Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, D.C. oh and not to mention I’ve been near people who have got it because they weren’t being responsible. Yet, guess what I didn’t get it because I was being responsible. It’s not hard to stay clean and not invade people’s bubbles mask or no mask.

This crap isn’t as bad as it has been made out to be period.
