2020 Presidential Race

Trying to woo the black and female voters is now racist and sexist? I guess if he picked Pete he would be homophobic too.
It's pandering. They would be better served to just claim to want the best vp candidate and then select based on race/sex than to make the claim they're going to discriminate based on skin color. Odd to see the left actively support racist policies

It is pandering but not racist. It's an attempt of inclusion not hate. Choosing a running mate isn't policy either.

It's absolutely exclusion based on race and gender. You simply don't want to admit it.

Not policy but they're setting standards. It's now ok to select based on race and gender. Claims to the contrary will be shown the dem leaders

No, it's inclusion since it's not the norm.

Here goes:
Biden chooses a running mate based on increasing his chances of election like both parties have done for years and it's racist because it goes against the norm. If you can think of a white male democrat, other than Pete, that would be better suited for VP let me know.

Better suited than a terrible prosecutor who slept her way into politics? That's the best option when race and gender are a requirement?

I will most definitely be watching the NFL and cheering for the Titans... Never understood people who claimed to love football but didn't want to see to see it played at the highest level. That's like saying "I love Mexican food" and Taco Bell is my favorite restaurant...
Tl;dr version of the below: its oversold for what it is.

No real passion imo at the NFL level. I have been to 4 maybe 5 different NFL stadiums for games, never once felt close to an SEC game. And not just talking the Vols, Bama, SC, and Auburn had more passion. Most fans are there to socialize, crowd noise is always piped in, which SC does too to be fair. Even among the players it's more about them than the team. Some of that is the celebration rules, but you also dont get the "Rudy" moments. It's just so much more a business than a sport at that point.

And for me it bothers me that players change teams so much, and yes coaches bouncing around college bother me too. Hard to say player X really cares about the team or the city considering a large number will bounce, or get bounced around. This goes for fans too, perfect example is Peyton. How many were colts/Broncos fans based on Peyton playing there, on this forum?

I also hate the media coverage of the NFL. It's like watching the coverage of tebow. They always act like it's the best thing ever even when its routine AF. And 8t gets wall to wall coverage. They will break down standard passes from the NFL all day, while entire college games, even big ones, get a 15 minute breakdown before they return to the NFL bs. Then you throw in the BS from espn about what different players do in their off times, or what was said on twitter, or betting, meanwhile I have to wait 4 hours for a blip on college ball.

It also doesnt help my attachment to the sport when these guys act like rock stars. People cant relate to that. You get your Cam Newtons up there dressed in whatever is "fashion" that day for pressers after he put in a mediocre performance and clearly doesnt give a crap.

I guess I will have to wait for you to find the white male Democrat suited for VP over your characterization of one of the finalist.

I'm just saying that if that's the best search results then you may need to relax your filters.

It's a strange day when Pence is the best choice out of the 4

Speaking of pandering to the base. What do you think Trump was looking for in a running mate? A Christian perhaps. I guess that would make him an Anti-Semite.

I don't care and religion is a choice. I guess supporting racist leadership is too though

Cuomo, a good number of Congress. I could throw in a number of governors but Cuomo seems the most popular, guys like Norfolk (the VA?) Dont seem to get as much attention.

I really dont know what Harris brings to the table. Besides her skin color and sex, which is what makes it racist. Biden has CA wrapped up, she's not needed for that. She isnt anymore progressive than Biden is, she isnt needed for that. She doesnt appeal to the centerist/undecided, so she doesnt help there either. Literally the only reason she is in the discussions is because SHE is black. Which makes it sexist and racist.

Sexist post. You assume she had to sleep her way to where she is, but male politicians who sleep with a lot of women is somehow different and accepted by the Right.

What policies are you referring to?

Except she actually did do it. What the right wants to accept is also up to them
I'm not seeing the problem here. You said that she is a terrible prosecutor. If so, she found another way to get where she wanted to be. I probably wouldn't go that route, but who am I to judge other than with my vote
