So I didn’t watch Avery pitch live but I caught a couple 91/92 playoff games during the lockdown and he could hit 93-94 on the gun (granted that was 30 years ago)

I was trying to find any info on the velocity of his fastball, but all I could find was an old reference to it being plus-plus.

A true plus-plus fastball these days would be faster than 93-94, but yea... 30 years ago.
