Took a day off work to hit the beach since the weekends are so crowded it's nearly impossible to get access. The mission was sharks, of which we caught a bunch of little blacktips, sharpnoses and bonnetheads using the cut bait we caught. Whiting, jacks, topsail catfish, we had bait for days. Also caught a ton of baby pompano which was odd.

I think the top fish there is a little blue runner. That's a first for me.

The baby sharks finally gave way to one big girl that put a bend in the rod. 4ft long 50 lb unidentified species, I'm still looking into it. A lot of these sharks look so similar. I guess this one made the trip worth it.

Kinda looks like a reef shark. At first I was thinking a black fin shark. I know there are also white fins, not sure if the color only shows up later.

The tail is distinctive.

I know this thread is supposed to be politics free, but I've applied for a few campaigns since Pete dropped out. Finally got a bite today and have an interview tomorrow. Pretty excited, this is a good opportunity for me to really get my foot in the door.

Same responsibilities I had with Pete's campaign: coordinating volunteers, voter registration, canvassing, phone banking, text banking, data entry, volunteer outreach, meeting with local county Democratic parties and leaders, event organizing, etc. Maybe not so much with the event organizing, given covid-19.
