Got a 15 year old, two 13 year olds, an 11 year old, and a 9 year old that we've homeschooled from the beginning. My wife is a saint and a machine. There are so many resources available for families who choose this route.

5 kids, including twins??? I would say machine is an accurate description! Agree with your last statement. We plan to hopefully continue this.

I don't know, guess to me it all comes down to there's statistical data and studies that show it's helpful. And it's a very easy thing I can do, if it all ends up to be a hoax then I'd have worn a mask... just not that big of a cross to die on for me.

I find it quite interesting the difference in perception of the Astros versus the Patriots. When confronted with the evidence of the cheating taking place, the owner of the Astros imposed the harshest possible self-punishment it could. When the Patriots got caught cheating in almost identical fashion, Kraft resisted any kind of punishment to the dying breath. Then the commissioner entered and ordered all evidence destroyed. Sure there are some people that refer to the coach as belicheat, but he still has his job and is referred to as the best in the business. Meanwhile people are cheering when some guy threatens to cause physical harm to people on the Astros.

No twins, one 13 year old was adopted four years ago. By the end of the year, we'll have a 15 year old, 14 year old, 13 year old, 12 year old, and 10 year old. There are unique blessings and challenges with every age range.

Agree, small inconvenience for a potentially big impact. Worst case scenario I’m slightly uncomfortable for no reason. Best case I’m slightly uncomfortable and help save lives and help keep businesses open.

Pretty easy decision for me, but to each their own I suppose.

I agree the socialization aspect of school is very beneficial for children. That can be achieved other places like church and sports/activities though.

My kids go to church and have friends there. They play softball and baseball and have friends there. Our school does a co-op so they go to school one day a week, they have friends there. This idea of lack of socialization is a myth.

Ehh. Germs are good for you. It's accepted that Covid doesn't transmit from surfaces. That's why it's been safe to order take-out the entire time, even when a lot was shut down. If people go too germaphobe, then they'll wind up with weak immune systems.
