LOL, Anybody who uses the USPS this shouldn't be a shock. Just over a week ago I recevied a couple of books I bought online and it took nearly 10 days to receive them after they were shipped. According to tracking they set in Chattanooga for 5 days from a late Wednesday night until late Sunday/early Monday when they were finally sent to my local PO in Dunlap,TN where they were finally delivered.

I used to buy & sale a lot on Ebay and I have tracked items that set places for days before moving on. I know it's been about 8 years ago I ordered something from California (I think) it got to Memphis and never made it any further (Maybe someday it will show up)

Not to mention the number of items torn, half opened or flat envelopes that's marked do not bend and it's folded in the mailbox (an oversized one at that).

So at this juncture of the election cycle, given Trump's crappy approval ratings, the ugly truth is that Democrats stalling here on any sweeping legislation benefits them and the likelihood of Trump's ousting as well as the Senate flipping. Not saying it's the right thing to do, but I suspect Dems will probably "turtle" on their position of more help (the 3 trillion House version), and thus drag out the fighting and eventual bill passage. Every day that passes without a new bill passing hurts the GOP and Trump. Honestly, the Dems kicking the can down the road by holding up any legislation could be framed as them trying to help our country MORE than the GOP, thus putting McConnell and Trump in a box: Either appease the Dems by including more of their must-have provisions, or lose the battle of public opinion and watch the ship sink.

The very public meltdown led people online to dub her “Arizona Karen,” the name used for white women who are regarded as acting privileged or entitled, and refuse to wear face masks in stores or social distance, and argue with staff over the issues and/or call the police on Black people for no reason. But it’s also a reminder that mental-health issues are caught up in the mix, too.

Yeah, the USPS has been a mess for a very long time. Probably should just fully privatize it. Of course mail to Alaska and Hawaii will get real expensive.

I don't see how this is a partisan issue. Free elections are the most American thing. No one should be happy with this.
