They are usually pretty respectful to her, she is the administrator who usually dishes out the strictest punishment so they know. But yeah she is pretty nervous about it. The thing is they have the capability to do all online but the board and superintendent aren’t going for it..

I thought that the drug speculation was uncalled for, that was out of pocket, and I understand why she was upset about that. The rest of her post is kind of a bad look.

I have no clue what it is, but there's got to be something more to his sudden DFA than purely his performance though. I get that they probably are generally frustrated with his career trajectory, but the suddenness of the DFA leads me to believe something more acute than that might have happened.

I was just picking up a few things - I still maintain we don’t go back.

For school, it’s a cluster. They announced in person starting on time. Then they delayed everyone two weeks. Now they’re letting people choose in person v virtual.

I wonder if the way that a lot of pitchers pitch these days (e.g., trying to strike everybody out, not pitching to contact, constantly nibbling, etc.) is a response to how lots of hitters hit these days (obsession with launch angle and exit velo, every AB is either a HR, BB, or K), or is the way hitters hit a response to how pitchers pitch? Chicken or the egg.

Oh I totally agree with you too. I was just meaning that the stat you cited is a perfect encapsulation of how the approaches of players is so much different today than it was in TG's day.

Yeah, they cancelled the school year in March (as they should’ve) when our county had 0 cases and now they are opening and we have over 200 lol. Local government at its finest. They are giving the option here as well, but I believe it should all be online. I mean why not? I fully believe that school should start back but maaannn DO IT ONLINE
