Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

It appears that the jury's still out on whether this is an effective treatment against C19. We just don't know yet. So with that in mind, nobody like Twitter should be censoring doctors who claim that it is effective. Nor should anyone be demonized for touting its effectiveness such as what the Trumps have said

If the jury is still out, how can doctors claim that it is effective? IDK all the censorship you're talking about, but Twitter is totally justified in taking that video down with Stella Immanuel peddling ********.

Doctors have medical opinions. It's certainly valid for them to express their opinions. It's what you pay for everytime you go to one. Now you're getting ridiculous.

As for Twitter, I'm referring to their actions taken vs Trump Jr

Because if there's a drug that helps or cures covid then it would be clear these mayors like John Cooper and governors like Gavin Newsome are only keeping things shut down to further damage the economy which hurts Trump

I get that. What I don't get is why partisans would be so willing to cost lives because they hate Trump.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has added a dozen potentially dangerous hand sanitizers to its recall list due to the presence of methanol.

As of Tuesday, 87 of the products have tested positive for methanol, a substance that can be poisonous if it comes into contact with the skin or potentially fatal if ingested, the FDA said in a press release.

The majority of the hand sanitizers appear to be made in Mexico, with recalls issued by the distributor or manufacturer.

I'll bet you this is much ado about nothing. Methanol is present in such small amounts when distilling that it is really not worth even removing from a batch of moonshine. (Maybe 2 ozs in a 5 gallon run) If it is concentrated somehow then yeah. But in the normal distilling process of alcohol, there isn't that much present. At least that is what my research for my future hobby has taught me.

Do you think I'm saying doctors shouldn't have opinions? They shouldn't make unsubstantiated claims to the public. She called it a cure, dude.

They hate Trump above all else. Millions lose their jobs, thousands die and Trump loses in November it was all worth it.

I think they'll get their wish in Nov but they'll pay a price in 2022 and 2024. The backlash could really be something. They'll no longer have Trump as a target and Americans will be done sending a signal that they hate Trump. They'll soon look up and see what the left has done to their country

I certainly hope you are wrong on the first part, but if the last part happens I guess it will be worth it. It's so crazy the left blames Trump for every problem we have and he's only been in politics 4 years, yet they give Pelosi, Schumer and O'Biden a pass and they have been in politics for 40-50 years each

I hope I'm wrong too but I don't see Trump or anyone surviving all of this...C19, the swamp, your own party, 90% of the media, Google, FB and Twitter. He was poised to beat it until C19 came around and that was amazing...but this is just too much

I heard a doctor say the other day even if we get a vaccine next year we won’t get back to any sense of normalcy till 2023
If O'Biden wins it's over election night and all of a sudden HCQ will be a miracle drug and the virus really wasn't as bad as we thought.

Twitter does not have a policy that claims on their platform need to be "substantiated". That's not their policy.

Who cares? It's their platform. They can do whatever they want. I'm willing to bet they have something in their policy that covers them on this, but even if they didn't, they should still be able to run their platform however they want just like a doctor is free to say whatever they want.

Totally agree. A private business should be able to deny service to anyone for any reason they choose, correct?

The gripe becomes we dont allow that as a society.

I think that's fine, as long as we aren't using government force. I mean, that's basically how capitalism is really supposed to work. Keep your customers happy and don't piss off the public and you'll be fine. If somebody wants to refuse minorities at their bar, they shouldn't be compelled by law to change up, but I like a society that puts checks on that behavior (protests, shaming, etc.).
