I've seen that as a defense to posting fake news a couple of times recently. I think we're all subject to confirmation bias and want to believe things that coincide with our opinions. However, we should all look at those articles, posts, tweets, etc, with some objectivity and scepticism and avoid propagating false information just because we like it. We're all entitled to our own opinions, we're not entitled to our own facts.

I agree, not debating you at all, but that in itself is going to be a challenge. What you think is false I might not think is false. And vice versa on what we may each think is true.

The sad thing is that so much of the news media and printed articles can't be trusted anymore. Most of it is politically biased on that party's agenda. We can't trust fact finder websites, they are politically biased.

I just wish we lived in a world that we all could trust the media and be treated equally among all social media. I'm at the point that it is difficult for me to accept anything as the truth anymore. I don't have much objectivity left, but do have heck lot of skepticism.

Cause it doesnt instantly spread to everyone and we have been quarantining.

My issue with the masks has never been does it do SOMETHING. Because I think it's easy to say, yes it does something. But to me there is no way in hades that masks do enough where it's worth arresting people, shutting down businesses or just generally mandating a cloth mask.

I misunderstood the article. It's not totally clear about the sampling. I still don't totally understand the sampling. Doesn't seem to be random, but I'm pretty sure they didn't separate them into heart condition/no heart condition groups like I thought. I took the time to click through and see the data:



Yeah HCQ and AZM combinations outperformed the control group, but the control group was older than them by an average of 5+ years. I would say this confirms what the testing I shared indicates, maybe, but we still need more testing.

By the looks of that, HCQ alone performed the best. Suffice to say, the statement "but we still need more testing" will be the case for the next ten yrs. I think we all get that and don't have to keep repeating it

Their follow up is how I read the original article. I’ve not ever been concerned with walking past someone for a brief moment and always thought it would be next to impossible to contract it in that manner. I also find it hard to believe droplets are just hanging out waiting for someone to pass by and ingest them.

Yeah, and in the random study I shared, HCQ alone barely outperformed placebo, and once again, in volsfaninva's study, the control group was way older than the HCQ group.

Agree. There is enough anecdotal evidence to start treating with Hydroxychloroquine, Zync, and Antibiotics. Let's start doing this and I bet we will see some great things happen IMO. The FDA needs to come out and fully support any Doctor that wants to prescribe it for their patient.
