Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Once again, HcQ alone does not appear to be a significant treatment. You need to combine it as part of a cocktail with Z pack and Zinc. This is what the President took. To continually do research on HcQ alone is pointless and gives the impression that it's being done for political reasons to discredit the President
Correct. Most of the studies that show no benefit are not done correctly from what I can tell.

Ok... he didn’t wear a mask. But before you do a touchdown dance - wouldn’t he have likely gotten infected anyway since a mask doesn’t really keep you from getting infected, it stops you from spreading it?
Good point. N95 mask are about the only ones that can to some point and that requires proper fitting and changing them out frequently. We should also be concerned about low oxygen levels from wearing masks too long.

The Sweden deal is undeniably true, I know it doesn't align with your narrative but it's true.

You are wishing death upon people because they don't believe what you believe, it really is a bad look

Pffft. Wrong. You can't figure out which way's up, dude. Clueless.

And, no, Sweden has not achieved herd immunity.

So how close is Sweden to possibly reaching herd immunity?

We don’t know at this point. Scientists are still trying to figure out whether immunity from the new coronavirus can even be reached – and for how long.

Ekström noted that the reproduction number of the epidemic – or R number, which measures the average number of people that one infected person will pass the virus on to – has now fallen in Sweden to around 0.6, meaning transmission is declining.

The number of people with antibodies against the new coronavirus, meanwhile, is increasing.

Data published by Sweden’s public health agency in June showed that about 10 per cent of people in Stockholm – the nation's worst affected area – had developed antibodies to COVID-19, more than anywhere else in the country.

A recent study from the Karolinska Institute also suggests that people testing negative for coronavirus antibodies may still have some immunity, through specific T-cells that identify and destroy infected cells.

Still, whether Sweden is on track to greater immunity to the new coronavirus than other countries remains one big question mark at this stage, says the Karolinska Institute's Albert.

"There are so many unknown factors about how many actually develop antibodies and other types of immune responses after going through the disease, and how many will be required to have had the disease in order to see herd immunity," he explained.

About anything covering your mouth and nose reduces the spread in both directions. Why are people still confused about this.

From what I’ve seen, the low O2 level thing is BS.

I get it. She should be locked up so you don’t have to wear a mask. Crazy, right?
So we should all be locked up so that she still wears a mask anyway?

What's the math on that?

Makes more sense to isolate the at risk, smaller population and are actually the ones more likely to be hospitalized. far more bang for the buck that way.

Instead you argue that we should lock down 330,000,000 people when 99% of them wont notice Covid.

And no ones definition of isolate means put in danger except for the governor of New York. Everyone else wants to isolate them as that is the best way to protect them. Allowing them to roam free with the 99% even with social distancing and masks doesnt make sense from a risk perspective.

Stop being dramatic.

Absolutely true. But it doesn’t help nearly as much to protect the wearer from infection. Numbers I’ve seen are 95%+ effective protecting from spread and around 50% protection from infection at best.

Hey smart guy, that article is from June almost 2 months ago. You clueless schmuck, I know this blows your tiny little mind

A little bit but not much. You also run the risk of respiratory infection from breathing with the mask on. Change it frequently.

In some.cases it reduces the spread effectively .. Like preventing fluids from landing on surfaces or people from coughing and sneezing.

People should just quit with "it does nothing' nonsense.

Yeah, it can help with that but so can a handkerchief is used properly.

Some ladies that do this for living in Minnesota said it does happen. They claim to have actually seen people pass out.
Be leery of anecdotal claims. Everything I’ve seen indicates that masks have no effect on oxygen levels. Otherwise, doctors and nurses would be passing out all over the place.

I was watching a video made by Minnesota consultants for OSHA Compliance. They do a lot of work with hospitals and construction sites for this very thing and have been doing it for 20+ years.

I apologize then for dismissing your evidence as anecdotal. I thought you meant you’d seen a video on social media or something.

Still, it’s hard for me to buy that when Doctors routinely wear masks for hours on end while performing surgery.

Yeah, they talked about what they do for doctors. They have to actually make sure the rooms they do surgery in have proper ventilation and air flow. They even said the Drs have no clue how things work. They also said air temperature and humidity levels also made a big difference.
