Is the purpose of that headline to make a point, or describe the content? Which is it supposed to be? I think you know the answer to both of those.

It’s odd to me that you all take the word of a handful of doctors over the thousands. You think, world wide, there are that many doctors who want to suppress how to treat this illness? Makes no sense.

I think it's CYA more than anything else. They certainly want to be first to market and make a pile of money, but they don't want to be held liable when the efficacy is a bit suspect and people keel over. This is preemptively blaming the victim before they have a chance to die.

Oh it makes perfect sense. There's no fear, no canceling rallies, no booming economy if they allow what medicine is out already to work. There's also no money to be made in a 65 year old pill.

The 3,000 number is bc they are supposedly trying to catch up on those numbers..... I do wish we could get true numbers on hospitalizations and deaths.

Wouldn't that be novel. Got my first look at Richmond yesterday. They followed the same hospitalization pattern we did in Norfolk. Peak April, older folks in May and June. They now have 2 corona pts in ICU out of 40 beds. They are down to 14 bed of positive that are step down.
Talked with a travel nurse from Pittsburg, her last assignment saw the same pattern at a major hospital.
I have to wear a mask for 2 weeks, after that I can go maskless on the unit.

Deaths per year I believe are running pretty close to annual for many years.
