The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has added a dozen potentially dangerous hand sanitizers to its recall list due to the presence of methanol.

As of Tuesday, 87 of the products have tested positive for methanol, a substance that can be poisonous if it comes into contact with the skin or potentially fatal if ingested, the FDA said in a press release.

The majority of the hand sanitizers appear to be made in Mexico, with recalls issued by the distributor or manufacturer.

You can't tell fake from real. I just call out what I see and you've shown with all these reposts that you don't read much anyways. You're just upset you keep falling for fake tweets

You call fake what you do not like as in anything good about Trump. I post the tweets. I do not write them. I post links to articles. I do not write them. Everyone can have their opinion on here. If you are going to start pointing out every lie/inaccuracy in everything posted on this board then go for it but do it to everyone and quit cherry picking. With that said, you are going to be one busy mod on here if you start that. You appear to be more butt hurt than I am.

I've seen that as a defense to posting fake news a couple of times recently. I think we're all subject to confirmation bias and want to believe things that coincide with our opinions. However, we should all look at those articles, posts, tweets, etc, with some objectivity and scepticism and avoid propagating false information just because we like it. We're all entitled to our own opinions, we're not entitled to our own facts.

You cannot always know. You just have to put it out there and let people debate it. If they find it to be inaccurate, believe me, they will post it. Also, what one news agency says is false, another says is accurate.

That's the problem. Everybody thinks every stupid meme on the internet that supports their opinion is right and they should throw it out there. When they get called on it, they just say "well, shucks, i didnt believe it, but I thought it was worthy of discussion." All you had to do was google the name at the bottom of that mugshot poster to realize they were nothing more than a facebook account and had no sourcing for their accusations.

Well, I apologized for that but again, I see so much crap posted on hear that it is what it is. It's not going to stop. If the MSM can't get everything right, we sure can't.
