I had a sneeze a week and a half ago and went to walk in clinic. They said allergies acting up and gave me Flonase. My wife was feeling ill A couple days later and got a covid test and it came up positive. We’ve been quarantining and the health department called. My work made me get a test before I return to work. I’ve had 0 symptoms Other than the sneezing if that even is a symptom of it. It certainly is a symptom of allergies. Health department said my test didn’t matter. They already assume me positive. I’ll have a Case monitor that will give me a release letter to return to work. Ive been running 3 miles/day after kids go to bed. Still a positive test number.

This is the craziest illness. Completely healthy people have a sneeze & other healthy people take months to fight it off, if at all.

Since this is the RF, I’m assuming most of y’all know, but a name most casual fans don’t know now but will in the next few years is Jalin Hyatt. Dude will probably be the fastest WR we’ve had since CP and has the hands to back it up. Seriously, watch his highlights if you haven’t already. Even though we lost MC and JJ, I feel very confident about the future of our pass catchers. When Bailey gets his shot, he’ll have a plethora of soft hands to throw to in Wideman, Hyatt, the two Jimmy’s and his former teammate Keyton (among others). I can’t wait

Ballad has been a voice of reason in this pandemic.

The virus is very real. As Ballad states, assume it is everywhere in Tri Cities at this point. People are going to get it. Best we can do is protect each other.

In closing, who is really the sheep? People listening to Doctors, Scientists, qualified authorities? Or the guy watching an angry white man scream completely unsubstantiated rumors on an obscure channel funded by WH Cabinet drop outs/Sinclair News Media/or Fox News?

Actually there are upwards now of 12 strains and none of them are any more lethal than the rest. The G strain, Italian strain, infects you much easier but that's it. The reasons why some are "long haulers" some are "short haulers" and some are asymptomatic are still not fully known. It is not a respiratory disease, it's a vascular disease. It can actually attack any organ of the body that has small blood vessels, not just lungs. Oh and now it's known that as many as half of all infected people will not show antibodies enough to register on most tests because it's seems many times lymphatic response system is bypassed. If you get an antibody test make sure it's the Roche test, not the other one.

By following the trends in what is reported when they are reported and understanding the delay in the reports it’s possible, assuming the trends hold, to approximate where we really are now by estimating what the numbers will be 3-4 days out.

Recent reporting suggests in Tennessee the numbers are moving in the direction most want to see but we won’t really know for sure until about 96 hours from now. While the reporting is actually comparatively good in our state relative to other states across the country it’s not like our reporting system is operating at the speed of light. I know someone who has died from it. I feel completely fine. My wife has been down like she’s had the flu for 6 days. No rhyme or reason to how it affects some and not others. The virus is real. I think some of the hysteria surrounding it is not. At this point though, I’m not sure how you stop it from spreading. If my wife had never gotten sick how she was and tested I would have never quarantined (this is assuming my sneezing that was diagnosed as allergies was my symptoms). That means there are many others out there like I was spreading it and not knowing they are. I was wearing a mask into stores etc but not work. I don’t think however a simple mask is stopping that especially if it transfers other ways as well. It’s as I saw Mike Rowe comment the other day saying a dr early on stated he thought 100 million would catch it and up to 500,000 die. (In the US). That’s half of 1% and while tragic if 100 million are going to get it eventually you have to assume you will be one and have it at some point. You simply pray that you’re symptoms are like mine like that of a sneeze or even my wife and it’s like the flu but that it does not lead to death. All you can do

I'm trying to get my money back because it's been over two months since they shipped. I will never, knowingly, buy anything that ships direct from China again. Ebay is the only site, that I know of, that lets you see where the product ships from.

We are cramming decades of science into 1.5 years. While I think it's intelligent to question Science's capabilities to cram, and I appreciate your somewhat rational outlook, we just dont know - so, it's up to young to protect the extremely young, elderly, and vulnerable. Laisse faire & cavalier attitudes get people hurt.

The science behind wearing masks isnt Novel, and is time tested. For every Mike Rowe, who isnt a Dr mind you, there is an infectious disease Doc or research paper showing they do help prevent spread.

Masks only help prevent spread of droplets unless you are wearing an N95 or higher. So yes masks help a little, but they aren’t the end all be all. If you “sneeze” or “cough” pretty much anything high speed it is getting through a normal mask no matter what.

Now, if you wear a mask and I wear a mask how many virus particles does that stop.... but also remember this, if you are wearing the same mask all day every day and you are touching it constantly and never washing it..... you really are just spreading virus particles if you have Covid. So.... really how much is a mask helping.

I’m going to keep doing it but the point is if it spreads from let’s say touching a gas pump or you type in your pin on a debit card machine etc and pick it up that way a mask and/or distancing isn’t stopping it spreading. That being the case, you continue to be careful but you have to assume you will get it at some point by numbers alone and for the most part be fine. Not sure anything can slow the spread now. Just my 2 cents.
