But the protests and riots have had no impact on the infections. It’s the casual gatherings and bars that caused the spikes.

Sure it would have because the virus isn't in every particle of your breath. And if Fauci or his friend were chatting using a bunch of words beginning with P or F, that potential spittle gets blocked.

No, they were too close. That is why scientists recommend 6ft. They dont say wear a mask and then it's cool to have face to face conversations.

This idea that the only people not wearing masks are Trump supporters making some political statement is just dumb basement dwellers who haven't seen the sun since March.

You can't eat with a mask. You can't drink with a mask. You really can't talk in a group very easily with a mask. You can't sit in the sun with a mask for long.

It's enough of an annoyance that people who's give a **** meter is slipping are just not going to do it. You can blame that on whatever you want. It has **** all to do with some BS political statement everyone makes it out to be, minus the 4 examples found after scouring Twitter for weeks. I'm anti-mask mandate and that hasn't played a role in my decision to wear or not wear a mask one single time. I'm guessing most people are in that boat.

The idea of putting a 3000 mile wide nation on lockdown all at the same time was one of the dumbest mistakes. Many had reached battle fatigue before the battle ever arrived on their doorstep.

How about hold you arm out at full length, where someone would actually be standing, and see how worried you are about it.

Man, it all depends on the person.. everyone knows a "close talker" or two, and a few that might be described as "lispy".

But the idea of the demo was so you could feel it on your skin, not to demonstrate maximum range.

Agreed same here. I think the severity of COVID is blown way out of proportion but it is super contagious and very random. Like I said we have had 8 hospitalized in a small rural hospital in 2 days and before that we had 6 in 2 weeks. I honestly think at this point everyone is gonna get it at some point and it is what it is.

Feel it on your skin at an intimate range. Take a step or two back and neither you nor your immune system are going to notice.

You dont have to Matrix every particle out there to avoid becoming infected.

Sure, but a mask helps to some degree, ts a fact.

Persons claiming they are useless aren't being honest about it, wether they choose to use one or not. And that is not helpful.

They seem to be fairly negligible in containing it. Half of Iran was wearing a mask before it even got there.

Possibly. So, what did the EU do right that we are continuing to fail so miserably at? There isn't a singular answer, but we have flopped miserably.

When you look at deaths per million, I dont see how we've flopped miserably. We look pretty similar to some major european countries.

The difference is there’s has tapered off for the most part while the US is still going up at a pretty quick pace. The entire continent of Europe had 17k cases and 440 deaths yesterday which is a fraction of what the US reported with twice the population

So, maybe we flattened the curve better, only to our detriment in terms of the criticism tied to it still going on. At the end of the day our deaths aren't much worse, better in some cases.
