Both parties are the enemy, how much proof do you need? They are making us the enemy of each other. Presidents are installed, not elected. It is all a dog and pony show, and we are the suckers. They are masters of delusion and tricksters, and know exactly how to manipulate and distract our focus while enacting more and more of their goals.

Can we not act as one team with the best interest for each other and for the love of our country?
If we do not come together to fight for this country we will never live in the same country we did even one year ago. Think about our loved Vols, if they were split into two groups like we are, and argued and always trying to prove the other side wrong, how far would they get?

I consider myself neither a Republican nor Democrat, I admit to lean more conservative, but do not honor or respect either party. It breaks my heart to see anyone defend the current criminal destruction of our country. While innocent people and even children are being beaten or killed, and our cities being destroyed, we have people arguing over the right to send in troops to try and stop it. Think about that. Why is your heart not hurting enough to override your political mind? Save the people first then you might argue if it was legal, all lives matter.

The evil in the world, and especially in our country, is the real enemy. I certainly am not pointing fingers at anyone, I have been guilty as much as anyone. If I have contested anyone here or made to feel insulated, I apologize. I am only frustrated by the name calling and division we have. I am very passionate in hoping we can all wake up and see clearly the road we are being led down, and come together as one team. And, only pray it is not too late.

I understand and respect your sentiments.
I think pretty much everyone on the PF would love to come together as one team and work to improve the country, I know I would. The problem is no one knows what that team looks like. I do think the goal should be to become less divisive and more cooperative and compromising as we move forward. We will take one minor step in November and at least turn around and start heading back in the correct direction.

Coming from you luthevol that means a lot, because I know how passionate that you are for what you believe in.
No matter who is our President Jan 2021 we must all stand together, and hold them accountable to all of us.

I like the first part of the post, but you fail by the end. As long as the country is controlled by partisan politics, we have turned nothing around. We are not headed in the correct direction, but down the same path we've been on. At most, you could argue our pace down the wrong path will be slowed, but do not fool yourself into thinking anything has been corrected. It hasn't. Same ****, different day. That is the point of acknowledging both parties are corrupt. As long as they control our government, and it doesn't matter which side, nothing really changes.

Don't buy it. Luther only believes that because he firmly believes Biden will win. Luther's perfect world is Democrats being in charge of everything. He is extremely partisan. As long as our country is governed by the two party system and their quest for power, nothing will really get better.

I almost left the last part off but I think it is critically important that Trump not be reelected. Him not running and another repub taking his place would have been a vast improvement.
There is corruption is both parties. There would be corruption in whatever replaced the two parties.
There is corruption in politics.
There is corruption in the legal system.
There is corruption in the military.
There is corruption in education.
There is corruption in construction.
There is corruption in religion.
There is corruption in college athletics.
This is key........it's on a continuum.
All politicians are not corrupt and certainly the ones who are are not all equally corrupt.
If more people would choose the less corrupt of the viable options every time, their would be motivation to be less corrupt.

If we want to root out corruption from our political system we have to find a way to eliminate the current two party system that is nothing more than a battle for power. We've been over this. Both sides are corrupt. Even if Biden is less corrupt, he's still pretty damn corrupt. There comes a point when continuum be damned and you realize neither side deserves to be in charge, and neither candidate deserves to be elected. Unfortunately, we, as a country, have failed to reach that point. And people who see things like you are part of the reason. You are what you are, which is a loyal Democrat. You refuse to see the corruption in your chosen party, choosing rather to scream it's "right-wing propaganda". Maybe one day you'll open your eyes and see the system needs a reboot. And before you say it, Biden is not a reboot, just another bad choice to be made. When faced with bad choices, one may be a better choice, but it still doesn't make them a good choice.

Very well said. To me, I don't get how anyone can support 100% of everything that their party does or stands for. How can you support 100% of anything? When I was a Republican I did not agree with probably 25% of what they stood for and they pushed . And, I admitted it and did not defend it. Years later the party left me, or I left them because I had researched and studied more of where the money trail was and opened my eyes to their true agenda. It seems Dems will defend 100% of everything of the Dem agenda and actions, that does not seem logically possible. But, I guess most Repubs do the same.

I would never consider Biden a "good" choice.
I would say that a majority of the country is sick of the current two party system and what it has evolved into.
Most people would love a reboot.
I'll gladly do whatever I can to increase the chances of those things happening, short of sacrificing my participation in the current system.
