Picking up a pork butt this morning to smoke overnight tonight. Looking forward to some good eatin’ tomorrow.

Recently had some from a friend who sliced it up after smoking, smothered it with a jar of pepper jam, then in the oven for 20-30 covered with foil on 400. Best thing I’ve ever had.

I have been playing with the temps here 96-100. One round heat index of 111.

Best part was that no one is out. Played a round in 3 hours flat. At one point, my son and I did pour bottles of water over each other to cool down. Quite invigorating

I would stay away from the 100. You know, because of Covid and all.

The problem is that it hurts lower level programs that can produce the revenue like the bigger colleges. This in turn hurst the professional players as well. How many of them come from lower level colleges.

Like anything else it isnt just about the taste of the wine. The bottle and its story, historocity of the grape - tell an intricate tale. It's romance for some folks. Personally, I dont give a rats ass

I suppose this can be true across some types. Maybe a rose or white wine this is true for the average person, but I’m a novice and can tell a $10 Zinfandel from a $30 Zinfandel. Maybe it just stands out more in red wine.
