I have no idea who those two other people are but I don't think it would be going too far out onto a limb to presume that all three of them are all frequently tested individuals. If you are only in close proximity with people who you know for sure are negative I wouldn't think the mask would be as necessary.

That said, my original comment wasn't really so much a defense of Facui in general it was more the fact that I sure as shlt don't care what Sheffield, Jr. has to say about the situation.

...which brings up another question. Maybe it’s just me but, if you go to a game with your family or best friends in the world and you’re the only people in a 50k seat stadium and it’s 90*.... would you all sit side by side?

The point is if you’re a public figure advocating for the wearing of a mask, you shouldn’t be caught NOT wearing one in the public. Otherwise it’s hypocritical and sending a mixed message.

Fair enough. I disagree but I see your point, just seems like a pretty common sense situation to me.

He wore it out to the mound where he theoretically was probably going to be in close proximity to others who he wouldn't have known the health status of. Then when he was in the stands with two people (I assume) he does know the status of it was then safe to temporarily remove.

It is almost August, aka when he gets good.

I just hope we get red hot Acuna, usually takes him a month or so do dominate the world. I think everything hinges on him.

What about asymptomatic and social distancing. COVID wouldn't take a temporary break from being transmitted.

Guess that goes back to my assumption that the people in the picture with him are as frequently tested as he is. Don't know who they are so I obviously could be 100% wrong but didn't think that was too outrageous of a guess.

I refuse to believe he could be that bad. I’m thinking publicity stunt (had an album about to come out). Also after following him on insta I now see why he has been shot 9x. He is an incredible troll.

Man, every time someone hates on Clay his bank account swells. And this is coming from a former CT hater. He drove me crazy when he was on his James Franklin kick lol.

It’s all an act though. He is nothing like that in real life. I always heard he was a good dude IRL, and I sat behind him in Memorial for Tennessee/Vandy a couple seasons back and it’s true. He probably had at least 100 people come up to him at the game and he was gracious and kind with each one. Took every picture.
