What's the ROI on it?
My risk for hospitalization is like .1%. Unless I am giving the Gettysburg Address to a bunch of geriatrics in the hospice ward their risk of me causing a hospitalization is less than .3%.
A mask takes me ALL the way down to a what .09%? And someone else to a .29%? Assuming everything is as good as a civilian using a mask could be.
I sweat like a pig, you stick a mask on me and I sweat even more. Meaning today when I got home my mask was soaked thru after a site visit. Which we have been told wet masks are worse than no masks, because now even my breathing is spreading even more possibly infected moisture to the air than I would otherwise.
At least you acknowledge you are statistically a contributor to the spread. Masks aren't the end-be-all of protection. Some people aren't going to be inconvenienced, no matter how bad it gets, and I'm not going to change anyone's mind, apparently.
One thing is for sure, the less people that wear them, the less people are going to feel like they should.
