I still like my 3 lies and it's over approach.
It highlights Trump's inability to speak the truth while allowing Biden an out from actually debating Trump.

I would have fact checkers there with red flags. When Trump tells his first lie (20 seconds into the debate), they raise a red flag and Biden says "that's one Donny". A minute later, Trump tells another lie and another red flag goes up. Biden says "that's two Donny, be careful." When Trump tells the third lie, Biden says "that's three, debate is over".

Yep. Pretty sure both campaigns already agreed to having three debates. The "Biden doesn't want a debate" thing is right-wing echo chamber nonsense.

Biden doesn’t even need to do much at the debates. Not smell anyone and remember his name will be enough. And trump fans will be mad at that assessment but it’s the truth.

The "Biden doesn't want to debate" rhetoric reveals a dissonance among Republicans over who they want Trump to be versus what Trump really is. Trump is inarticulate and slow. Trump frequently mispronounces and misuses words, slurs his speech and repeats himself - not for emphasis, but because he needs more time to think about what he wants to say next. There is never any flow to his speeches, unless he can read from a teleprompter - but even then he will mispronounce words. He also lacks a command of basic facts, particularly when it comes to foreign policy. Trump doesn't project strength at all. Trump is a one trick pony. He can childishly call his opponent a pejorative name, and he can air grievances... but when it comes to actual substantive debate and discussion? Trump brings nothing to the table. There is no reason for Biden to think twice about debating him.

The contrast at the debates honestly could be perfect for Biden. If he can keep his temper under control (admittedly hard to do with Lord Red Hat frothing at the mouth), the debates could very well be a disaster for Trump. Trump will do his normal angry, yelling, lie-infested poor poor me diatribe. All Biden has to do is keep his cool and show an ounce of empathy and he will blow Trump out of the water in the debates. Unity and healing versus passing blame to others, hate, anger, populism, conspiracy theories, and bold-face lies from Trump. Trump should be more concerned than Biden about the debates; his rally style anger and hate filled spiels won't work on a debate stage with no audience. It will make him look petty and weak.
