Commercial real estate companies are being hit hard. Opportunities to reopen with better lease agreements will be the new norm.
Homeowners on the other hand, I'm not sure the lenders will be as accommodating.
Something major has to be done. The reopening initiatives will not be the rescue, I'm afraid.
I know, we can have Congress whip up a few trillion more to keep us afloat.Commercial real estate companies are being hit hard. Opportunities to reopen with better lease agreements will be the new norm.

Close that many die every quarter from what? How many of those are from infections working in stores? The point is better precautions are wanted. Where did they state less work or higher wages? Do military personnel not get hazard duty when deployed? So what’s the issue of paying them more?
So am I supposed to post on here for you every time I’m outraged for something? Like I said those that have lost their jobs are being helped with the bill that was passed. For those that still have to work, why would I be outraged if an essential employee still has to work unless they are higher risk?
This is what I meant when I said I don’t know who I’m their right mind would want to be president . I’m afraid if Biden wins , we are going to see a prime example of the dog chasing cars and finally catching one . The economy has a line that we can’t cross before it melts down , nobody knows where it’s at . I have no doubts though that we are within sight of it .
Those menu ideas are smart. I have been advocating for it for a few months. I saw it at my local restaurant we go to often. So far have been shot down. That's tough short term...but will help the profits for those that remain...u see this? Kinda cool from Waffle House View attachment 294836
Good point. I absorbed casualties of housing bubble. Others will absorb the restaurant bubble.A lot were already living on life support. Others will violate debt covenants. Over time they will be replaced. It’s a huge opportunity for those who survive. All of that restaurant space with no one to rent/sell to. Talk about some cheap ass rent.
Is paying them more going to make their workplace safer?
So teachers are not essential? Good to know.
Imagine being in Miami or Titans stadiums in September and being forced to wear a mask
Idk does it make frontline troops lives more safer? Obviously not. But employing all the precautions I mentioned before and possibly any other ones like maybe scanning peoples temperatures would.
Where did I say teachers weren’t essential? I said before if they can teach from home and are more comfortable with that since they are higher risk or have high risk children or close family members then why not?
I dont think Trump.wants to be. I imagine he would take a dive with a gentlemen's agreement, if he hasn't already done so.
I know some would never accept that notion, but I'm way more cynical that most.
Course being good little comrades they all probably wrote an extra amount into theirs. Just when I think you are somewhat intelligent you come up with increasing property tax 37% isn't enough. Musta took a loother pill this morning.Boo hoo. Same thing happened to a lot of my friends and family, butt shove boy.
I have no problem with them being accommodated where possible, my daughter is a teacher and pregnant so she is considered high risk. She will be back in the classroom when the school opens because the district can't accommodate her.
I did not say healthcare workers. I said teachers. Is your trauma center dealing with Covid or only injuries?
My point was that healthcare workers are pretty safe working non-stop through this "crisis" and we are fine. We have some COVID patients and are testing hundreds of people daily and it's not been that big of an issue from the workers side. I think we have had around 10 positive COVID tests from our 8k employees since March, none serious.
I’m guessing the healthcare industry is much further ahead of public schools in terms of precautions, as they should be. But apparently some did not share your views.
I agree that we are ahead, but it's not THAT much ahead. The issue with hospitals and schools is that some hospital systems and states have great leadership and some have poor leadership and don't plan for anything or are afraid to take stands, and those are the areas that are having issues...I find it funny that liberal unions in liberal states blame the government for these issues, when hospitals who planned perfectly are operating fine with minimal disruptions.
Thousands of health care workers demand investigation of hospitals' coronavirus response
I’m guessing no schools are going to modify their buildings to make them safer. The point is that a significant percentage of teachers are higher risk. If they can teach from home until a vaccine is introduced, what is the harm?
How would you suggest a school modify their building to "make them safer"?
Teachers aren't forced to work there, they can do whatever they like, and how can they truly "teach from home" especially the elementary school teachers?
And your reliance on a vaccine is silly, what if one is only 10% effective, what if people refuse them, what if they take 2 years to get a good one?
Real world stuff trumps fear
