2020 Presidential Race

Since @Franklin Pierce, loves to tout the ratings of shows on Fox News (he does it at least once a week), this seems like a relevant post to this thread. Per "Deadline.com":

Mary Trump's interview with Rachel Maddow gave the show its highest rated hour in its history and set a record for the highest rated scheduled show on MSNBC, the network said on Friday.

"The Rachel Maddow Show" pulled in 5.2 million viewers, also making it the top show on broadcast and cable in total viewers. "Hannity", which usually wins the time slot, had 3.8 million viewers.

MSNBC said that "Maddow" also was the top show across cable in the 25-54 demographic. It also boosted "Last Word With Lawrence O'Donnell", which had 3.5 million viewers.

Wow. Maddow wins her first ever ratings night.

Quick, somebody nominate her for the participation Emmy.

Not close... she had similar ratings last fall for her interview with Lev Parnas (not quite this good, but close). And for the brief period of time that she was opposite "The Five", instead of Hannity, she usually won the time slot. Fox News moved "The Five" back to 5 pm ET, and moved Hannity up an hour for that reason.

So you’re agreeing with me that she qualifies for a participation Emmy?

Maybe we should give Chris Wallace of Fox News one? LOL. The interview he just did with Donald Trump, which will appear on "Fox News Sunday", is a classic. Trump throws a tantrum when Wallace fact checks him, by disputing that Joe Biden has ever called for a de-funding of the police. Trump calls for the document signed by Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden to be brought over... but then can't find where Biden called for the de-funding of the police - as Trump had claimed. Trump has a complete meltdown. It's symbolic of what his campaign is doing.

Maybe he should. Sounds like Wallace was actually doing his job.

Was the economy better under Clinton and Obama than Bush I, II and Orangutan?
It was good under Clinton thanks to the internet boom..... I was doing fine under Bush II until the Barney Frank/Bill Clinton Freddie and Fannie BS crashed the market.....and Obama’s BS agenda, tax increases and Obamacare cost me thousands and thousands of dollars. I still want to stomp the hands of every stinking democrat that signed that POS legislation into law.

CNN always seems to have trouble keeping signal when someone disrupts their narrative.

Ask her a question , try to keep her from answering then mysteriously lose the signal .. again . It amazes me that a youtuber can live stream any and everything from anywhere and not lose the signal but a multibillion dollar media platform has so many problems keeping one going . Looks like they would have fixed that by now huh ? Is YouTube that much better than CNN ?

To watch a Mary trump interview..... people need to get a life.

The Supreme Court has granted the Manhattan district attorney's request to expedite its recent Trump tax decision rejecting President Trump's claims of absolute immunity. Chief Justice John Roberts ordered the decision to go into effect immediately.
Whats the fascination with Trump's taxes?

Said he'd release them, then didn't.

Pretty much sums up things.
In the fall of 2015, Republican Party Primary candidate Donald Trump said that the only reason he wasn't releasing his taxes then, was because he was under audit. Considering the lengths which he has gone to in order to keep his tax documents away from public scrutiny since his inauguration, it's safe to say that there was never a word of truth to that.
