Should be simple. Students who want to play, let them play. They don’t, let them sit out. Coaches who want to coach, let them coach. They’re scared, let them sit out. Fans want to attend. Let them attend. They’re scared, let them stay home. That’s life. It involves risk. Stop making decisions for me.
Scared? Not even close. I want football as much as anybody. A full stadium this Fall is a recipe for disaster. There are people who have a lot more at stake than you do working on it. Let them figure it out.

That number isnt accurate. We know this.
Will the super pro lockdown folks at least realize that the death count is 100 percent inconclusive? They do not differentiate between deaths FROM and WITH therefore they are inflated. Many who died in nursing homes were assumed that they died from covid.

As of the last CDC numbers through July 15th they had 121 thousand deaths.

34 and under the amount of deaths are 1,032.

Thats out of 3.53 million KNOWN cases in America. Likely many more than that.

Haven't been able to find the number of cases by age in America yet, but we can assume that there are likely well over a million people under 34 that have had it.

How would only 1,032 HEALTHY people die out of a few million? Or a million or whatever? There's no way the majority of them were healthy, otherwise we would see more death in this demographic. Therefore, the only way 1,032 people in that demographic could have died are from the inflation of the data, as in the, died of other causes, but had tested positive for Covid, therefore covid was put on their death certificate, and the fact that they had some kind of severe underlying health issue.

If my hypothesis is correct, almost everyone who has died, has died from having an underlying health issue or from the inflation of the data. The older you get the more likely you are to have a bad health issue.

Is there really no way to protect those with significant health issues and remain cautiously open? Also, since all young deaths are anomalies, manipulations of the data and from people with severe health conditions then we can play football.

EDIT. 3.68 million cases actually.

I thought wearing masks prevented you from getting it....
That’s what there forcing us to do atleast
If the hospitals didn’t prepare after what happened in the spring then shame on them
More testing equals more cases while dropping the death rate
No one has said masks prevent you from getting it.

Again, these account for a small, insignificant portion of COVID deaths. 141,000 isn’t exact but it is close.

This also is balanced out by people who die at home and people who died early in the process when tests were limited.

SSVols argument above supports this
So I can show you facts, people that we know who died of other causes, but were written down as covid deaths, including a dude who died in a motorcycle crash! And the statements that people are being counted who died "with" and not "from," and all you have is "there were probably others who died that weren't counted?"

I think it is highly likely the death number is way higher when we're counting died "with" and not from. On top of this, the data that we currently have would support this.

The chances of people dying from this who are under the age of 65 is about the same as the flu. That is fact. Healthy people under the age of 45 dying from this is as rare as GA winning a national championship. So yes, we can believe that the numbers are inflated.

Further, the numbers are also inflated because of what the democratic governors did in the beginning. They sent covid positive patients into nursing homes. How many people died as a result of this? If they do not send those patients into nursing homes, the death count would be even lower.

I was really proud of our football team when they came back to campus a few weeks ago and went for a number of weeks with no infections. Then they go home for the independence day weekend and just screw everything up. I have no doubt that Pruitt, his staff, our medical team, Fulmer, and just about everybody were likely impressing on these kids the importance of their health practices in the current environment. Some of the kids obviously said, no thanks, I’m with Bass. jmo.

Seriously, what a bunch of dumbasses. From the beginning I've been into social distancing but I wasn't in a situation where I really needed a mask but then some of the places I go started posting signs that said "No mask, no service". Okay that's their right. I respect that. To go there I wear a mask. I don't care why they have the rule. It's not important. They could say I've got to wear a blue shirt and if I want to shop there I better get a damn blue shirt.

I honestly can't relate to people who are getting infected. I'm mean I'm not in a situation where there's much of an opportunity for me to get infected (Knock on wood) but I realize some people can't avoid those situations for legitimate reasons. Football players on vacation do not have legitimate excuses other than just being a complete dumbass. jmo.

That’s pretty harsh. Who said they went on vacation? Most went home and could’ve easily caught it during travel doing everything they could to be safe.

They’ve already completed lab-controlled studies and found no viral shedding from Covid-positive people while talking and breathing. Only occurs with forced coughing they found.

Not enough people were taught the vampire cough technique in elementary school... and it shows!

So how about a choir practice that resulted in a huge number of positives, including, I believe, a few dying? Screaming and shouting are things to avoid to prevent the spread. If that means 25% capacity, it’s better than nothing. I do not expect more than that even when if fans are allowed.

How do you know its an insignificant amount of the deaths? It could be up to 25 percent of all the deaths. Not insignificant. Birx claimed early on that was probably the case. Colorado back in i think May was under scrutiny for this issue and they took off 25 percent of their deaths.
